I made a post in the forums to guage people's perception on Good and Evil. I stated in that post, and I reiterate here, it is my belief that we have 'intellectualised' Evil out of society to a great extent. We may believe we have progressed in some ways but I'm not at all sure that the things we have achieved can all be accurately described as progress. Things which we would have described as Evil before, can now be explained away, even attempt to be justifed in some cases!!
How often have we read of a murder which took place but the 'defence' is that the person didn't know what they were doing because they were 'out of it' on a drugs and alcohol binge. Are we to say then, 'Oh, that's okay then, if he didn't know what he was doing. That makes all the difference!' Of course, I'm suggesting that we do not. I'm suggesting that we stop seeing it as just another symptom of our badly screwed up society and start seeing it for what it is - an Evil act!
To me, it is simple. Life is simple. Everything is simple when you don't try to make it intellectualised, sophisticated or more complex than it really is. Why do you think that so many people have difficulty with the concept of God, the Creator? With the idea of Heaven , Hell and an afterlife? With getting to grios with the whole notion of Ghosts, Spirits and the hidden side of life? It is because it is SIMPLE and they are looking for a difficult answer. It has been said, (and not by me either), They have eyes to look but do not see, ears to listen and do not hear.... or something along those lines anyway. Don't pick on me for my lack of accuracy. lol
There is Good and there is Evil. One cannot exist without the other. Both shall always exist but what is important is to which one the majority of people decide to cling. The dark side, the Evil side, the Left hand path as it is known, can be very seductive. Down this road there is the promise of unlimited wealth, sex, power, notoriety and instant self gratification. All your worldly desires shall be met and given unto you. The trouble with following the darker side however is when it comes time to pay for all that you receieve.....!
By contrast, the Right hand path, the way of the light, to walk in Love is difficult to maintain in the phsyical lifetime. There are many who ridicule, accost, sneer and try to make those who tread this path believe that they are going in the wrong direction. Of course it is not so. Sometimes, even those who walk in the light are momentarily distracted and let their gaze wander but, true to their nature and their beliefs, they will return to their true path.
Evil DOES exist, it IS among us and it IS growing. The reason it is, is because people are increasingly finding it difficult to see. What is more Evil though than being 'educated' to believe that an Evil act really isn't, and that it's only a misrepresentation!?
We are taught we should be afraid of Evil and Evil-doers. I disagree. Certainly we should be aware of them, but never be afraid. If you hold fear within you, you are holding darkness within you and that allows evil an entrance way in, to grow within you. If there is no darkness within, no Evil can enter. There are some, however, who have already allowed Evil and darkness to fill them.
We probably all have knowledge if not experience of seeing those who look tough, who have a 'hard stare'. The sort of person you don't want to go up against if at all possible. These people might invoke fear in others and, in some cases, even rely upon it to keep their dominance over others. There are much worse people though. These are the ones whose eyes are completely dead and they are the ones to beware of.
The tough ones with the hard stare, catch them right and you'll see a glint of light in their eye, at the side. You can tell their eyes still show some life within the body as they stare at you. Those with dead eyes show nothing. They don't stare at you, they look through you as if you didn't even exist. There is Evil!
I have spent half of my life, thus far, searching, seeking, discovering, learning about both sides of the spectrum, the good and the bad, the Good and the Evil. You need to know one to recognise the other, it IS that simple. What constitutes Evil in these 'modern days' may be held up to debate among others but until real Evil is seen and experienced, such debates will only allow Evil to grow.
There is a concept that states if you wish to remain hidden, be as noticeable as you can be, for people choose to not see more than they admit to. Perhaps then, real Evil is being misinterpreted by the majority - even although it is staring them in the face!

Maybe your right my friend , but just personaly everyone has their own views on exactly what constitutes evil and good - HITLER for example was convinced that the JEWS were evil and managed to convince a whole nation that his point of view was right .....And there are some religions that believe that THE SERPENT in the garden of eden was GOOD as the serpent wanted to give humans knowledge to make them gods.....I do believe in the aspect of LIGHT and DARKNESS but they excisted in cultures 1000s of years before christianity , but they did not view things in terms of good or evil , in fact there are some amazonian tribes that do not even have words in their language for such terms!.....Rather they take the view that if someone hurts another for whatever reason then they are punished according to said crime - An eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth - Which is oddly a christian - jewish concept , and therin lays the dichotomy......It would be nice if the world was indeed a simple place as there would be peace in the world.....But alas like humans its not , even in the animal kingdom there is a propensity for peace and violence , although some would say that is just instincts , but chimps have a highly evolved society and can show incredible acts of kindness or brutality.....Do these animals choose or are they possesed by daemons , and where does true light or darkness come from....Who made them?....VERY INTERESTING POINT MY FRIEND....Take care.

I PERSONALLY FEEL VERY STRONGLY ABOUT THIS SUBJECT,BECAUSE THERE ARE ALOT OF MENTALLY I'LL PEOPLE IN MY FAMILY,THEY ARE INSTANTLY EXCUSED FROM THERE BEHAVOIR,BECAUSE OF A SUPPOSED CHEMICAL EMBALANCE.I HAVE WITNESSED,AND EXEPERIENCED,THERE ACTIONS FIRST HAND,AND THEY HAVE DONE SOME SEVERLY HURTFUL,DAMAGING THINGS TO PEOPLE,I DO BELIEVE IN METAL ILLNESS AND HAVE SYPATHY FOR PEOPLE GOING THREW THERE PERSONAL HELL,BUT WHEN THEY INFLICT IT ON OTHERS,INOCCENT CHILDREN AND PEOPLE,THEN IT BECOMES EVIL.I DONT BELIEVE BI-POLAR IS A REAL DESEASE,I HONESTLY IT IS A SCIENTIFIC WAY OF TRYING TO RASHIONALIZE EVIL BEHAVOIR,EVIL BEINGS.THERS NOTHING SCARIER THAN SEEING THOSE DEAD EYES ON SOMEONE YOU LOVE WHO IS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT AND LOVE YOU.I THINK YOUR BLOG IS GREAT
