 Reasons
Ah, There you are! Wondering when I was going to post something new, eh? Well, I've been off contemplating you see. "Contemplating what?", I hear you ask? No? Oh well, let's pretend you did anyway.

I've been contemplating life, or part of it at least. You see, I believe that everything happens for a reason, even if we don't know what the reason is, (and we usually don't), there still has to be some reason otherwise my alternative theory of everything being a result of "God's" crazy, messed up sense of humour comes into play.

When I say 'Everything has a reason', I mean EVERYTHING too. Even the smallest, most trivial matter can have some significance unbeknown to us. For instance, there must be some reason why you  are reading this and there is some reason why I was compeled to write it. Don't get fanciful or philosophical ideas about learning, teaching and sharing and all that stuff. The simple truth is that I HAD to write it because something wouldn't leave me alone or shut the hell up until I had done it, (I really only have one personality so lets just assume that it was my 'creative muse', ok? :p)

Of course, there are greater reasons and less easily explainable things to conquer too, like - Why did I even discover or decide upon "thoughts.com" to share the mad meanderings of my wasted mind? Why was it that I found my wife in the last place on Earth I would ever have considered looking ? And that, in finding her, I also ended up in the last country on Earth I ever thought I would visit, let alone settle in?

Looking back, (hindsight is a great invention), you can see the reasons for some of the things, the experiences you have had in life. Some might still not have been fully explained but, perhaps one day, all will be clear. In the end though, I think those things, those times of the greatest significance always come when you are aware of them happening AS they are developing. That's how it has seemed for me.

Maybe we need more 'present moment awareness' in our lives but, is there a reason for having it? Do you think? ;p

To EVERYTHING there is a REASON and a PURPOSE. I believe that, too.
