 Look out!
Is it a warning or good advice? A better person than I once said, "They have eyes yet they do not see!"

How often do we get so caught up in the tangled web of trivial matters and peer through the darkness at what we think is important, that we fail to see the miraculous wonders of life all around us?

So many state their disbelief in Miracles, in God, in anything other than what they can see , touch, taste and feel hear in this world, yet despite their disbelief, the miracles go on. God, (by whatever name you know him), sits watching everything that is said and done with a hint of a smile playing on his lips, much as a father watching his child having a tantrum may have.

The point is that, the wondrous magic of life that we all expereinced, (however briefly), as children, still exists all around us. It always has done and will always continue to be there. It is we who have left the magic behind not the magic that disappeared.

We take so much that is miraculous for granted, expecting that it should just be there without even considering why or how it gets there in the first place. Not until the commonplace is gone do we suddenly begin to see with new eyes and even then we only recognise it by its absence not by the beauty of its presence.

There is much to be seen and recognised in the physical world that is miraculous but there is even more to be recognised in the subtle, the indefinable, the unseen connections that bridge the differences between all races, all species, all life. Therein lies the true magic.

They have eyes but they do not see........!

Yes, I agree. I wonder where all the philosophers have gone.

It seems no one questions the most miraculous of things...such as life itself...and why it exists...and what would be in its place if it didn't and what would the universe look like?! All those endless questions.

I still wonder about it, but it's difficult to pursue this kind of thinking when so few value it.

I dont tend to think much the way most others do so it doesnt bother me too much if Im the ONLY one thinking it, regardless of the value or not. hee hee

I'm such a procrastinator at times.
