Why do you need to have a religion? Your relationship with God/ Spirit is personal to you alone. You can belong and be part of a religion but your r/ship will STILL be yours alone.
As for politics. Its ALL a pile of manure in my opinion BUT, all you need to do is stand for what YOU believe. Others will disagree and that is okay but your beliefs and opinions are yours alone and are as valid as anyone else's - Dont let anyone tell you different!!

I never had the humor, I was never the funny guy. I just got to the point of being the 'couldnt-care-less' guy. Still am to a certain extent. What you see is what you get now. Just hope it's enough.

We can still find good, true, new friends as we get older though. Like any relationship, if its right, it will be. If not, it wont.
I agree you should try and hold onto your friendships, not only while your young. If we are a true friend though, and the time comes, we need to let them go too.

I loved that song when I first heard it and its still as good now. If God was one of us, just a slob like one of us - nobody would believe he was God.
What if God doesn't come back with a fanfare of trumpets and angels rending the sky asunder? What if that bum begging on the sidewalk IS god and we walk right past him with scorn on our face? Makes you think.
