Happy Birthday to My Mom
I find myself racking my brain for something to post today and I’m just not coming up with any inspiration. So, since today would have been my Wonderful mother’s (and Friend) sixty-third birthday I am going to share a few of her poem’s and thoughts.
It seems a little strange to me that everything she created was done with a pencil and paper many years before computers were around and I can’t tell you the last time I used a pencil and paper to write.
Happy Birthday Mom, you are very loved and very missed.
I Never Could Explain To You
Just How You Made Me Feel
As Things Turned Out
I Guess I Never Will
You Always Said You Needed Me
As If I Couldn’t Understand
I Understand More Than You Know
I Just Thought You Were More Of A Man
I Was So Taken In
You Must Think Me Quite The Fool
Actually, It’s Quite A Different Tale
It’s Sad, But True
You Said This Was All My Fault
I Think About It, But Can’t Agree
I Hope You Weren’t The Love Of My Life
Because You Were Destroying Me
You Always Play The Victim
For Nothing, You Take The Blame
You Won’t Grow Up
It Really Is A Shame
