We are All Made in God's Image
I read an article recently that said 75% of Americans identify with the Christian faith.

Well what does that mean? Does it mean 75% accept Christ? I don't think so ,maybe it means 75% go to church on Sunday.I seriously doubt that or the traffic would be wall to wall across America and believe me it's not.

I think it means that 75% of Americans think they are saved because at one point in there life they accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. That sounds more like it but it says in God's word that the test is if it is true then we should see it in our everyday life. That means when you are in traffic you don't give the driver in front of you the American Eagle salute when he/she cuts you off because the Holy Spirit helps to guide you and you stay calm. It means that you go out of your way to check on a friend that is sick even if it means after work when you are tired and weary because the Holy Spirit gives you strength.

How does that peace come about? Well for me I read God's word and try and apply it to my life. I try an stay in contact with God through prayer and mediation on a daily basis so that I am prepared to face the world that I am in but not a part of . I also try and understand when things go wrong how am I to proceed so that I am in God's will.

I am amazed when I view the world and everyone, yes I said everyone, that I remember that we are all made in God's image and that helps me because any mean talk to that person is like insulting God himself. We are different and placed above the animals in God's Kingdom but sometimes we don't act better then animals. When I do look at everyone through eyes that identify people like God I act and most of all feel better about myself and that person that I am addressing. It seems that Jesus was right "the Kingdom of God is near".

While it is true that Christians should show their faith by their deeds, it's also true that Paul recognized as temples of the Holy Spirit individuals who still engaged in immorality.

If someone is engaged in immorality then the Holy Spirit is not in that person. Thus getting back to the test that faith without deeds is dead. If the HS doesn't reside in you then rightousness is impossible and you drift. If you confess those sin's and ask for forgiveness from the heart then the HS will reside in you but you are certainly subject to question and the immorality that you spoke of hurts God but repentence is what God is looking for in your turn back to him and belief that Jesus died for your sin's. Then your deeds will show your faith. Thanks for your comment!

Great point about Satan! Now if we can get the world to understand that if Satan knows the Word there must be a reason. All the evil spirits recognize Jesus and fear His powers but they try their best to always interfere and create havoc in our lives, but is it not wonderful to know that nothing can ever seperate us from the love of our Lord! Is it not magnificant that we are forgiven for our sins because this God of ours felt compelled to sacrifice His only Son for our lives so we could be saved! He loved us when we did not even love ourself! It's the most remarkable feeling in the world!

Shalom
