Hopefully for keeps.
This past wee while I have only taken a few photos, for the simple fact that I feel really self conscious right now due to having really dry skin, so haven't wanted to be in any photos.
Because of this, I only have three photos to tell the story of this week, one of which doesn't even really tell a story.

So, this was taken outside King Tut's on October 1st. I was in there for the NME Radar Tour Gig and was in the second row which I was really pleased about, because my favourite solo artist (Marina and the Diamonds) was going to be on next. Then, halfway through Local Natives' performance, the fire alarm went off.
We all had to evacuate and were outside for so long, cold and miserable with cars driving past us shouting things and laughing at us (obviously the drivers/passengers, not the cars themselves). Eventually two firetrucks and a police car showed up so we thought there must genuinely be a problem. Turns out there wasn't. I still don't know who set the alarm off but everyone ran back in so fast that I was at the back of the crowd behind two giants (I'm 5"1 - anyone over 6" is a giant to me) and didn't see more than a hair-flick of my favourite artist ever. So thanks, fire-alarm-setter-offer. You really made my night. I hope you're happy.
The bands were AMAZING though! I'd never heard of Yes Giantess or Local Natives before that night and they were so good, I'm going to have a look and see if I can find some albums etc :)
Golden Silvers were alright too, I think by that point I was so pissed off with all the tall people that I really didn't give them the credit they were due, though.
Like to add that the horrible quality is due to moving vehicles. Though the camera on my phone isn't the greatest and I've lost my real camera's cable.

I know this is even worse quality, that's because it was zoomed in a bunch of times. So last night I went to see Chicago at the King's Theatre. Quick note, I'm not made of money, the tickets for both mentioned events were birthday presents! Chicago was amazing. I saw it five years ago and quite liked it but last night was even better. There was one thing that distracted me, though - two things, if we're being pedantic. These damn cherubs! Initially I was worried that, even though this theatre is like 12,000 years old, tonight might be the night that the cherubs fall down on the audience. Then I looked closer and saw the reason this shot was taken, and why its such terrible quality. Even after maximum zoomage you can't really see but I swear to god its true.
These little bastards look like Simply Red! I swear to god! And if thats not enough to mentally scar you, I don't know what is.
Final note, I promise I'll take more pictures in the next few weeks, or as soon as my face gets better. I'm travelling to Orkney next week for a few days so I'll get as many pictures as I can when I get home. I'm really excited to take a break for a few days!
Peace out!

Yes, those are my real fingers. I promise.
[EDIT: quick note just to say thank you to Steph for the NME Radar tickets and to Susie for the Chicago tickets. I had a super-fun time on both nights!]
