| Leo and Evie. Chapter 1. |
Chapter 1
He was at home. Finally he had a chance to get off his feet and relax. He was exhausted. He hadn’t done anything different than a normal day. Why was he so tired? “Why does it matter?” he asked himself as he slid into bed and drifted off into a world created by the mind.
Back into his own world again. It was different than it had been time and time before. He liked the change. He was lying on a large bed covered in black satin sheets. The room he was in smelled of lavender, sweet lavender. The walls seemed to be extracting the smell. The only light in the room was that of the full moon peeking through the curtains and the small candle on the bench at the foot of the bed. He had never been here before. It was new but he like how he felt here. The door of this unfamiliar room began to open and then she walked in. Who was this amazing creature that was walking towards the bed? She sat down at his side. He took a moment to look at her. Leo began to open his mouth only to feel the soft finger of the beautiful stranger press against his lips. “Shh, there is no need for words.”His blood began to boil. He had never heard a voice as wonderful as hers. He could think of no words to describe how her voice was.
Her arm reached behind herself and unzipped the delicate silk nightgown. The small straps slid down her shoulders and the entire gown slid down to her waist revealing her perky warm breasts. Never had Leo seen skin so beautiful and soft or a woman whose beauty actually took his breath. He couldn’t move. He wasn’t sure what to do. He looked at her eyes. Beautiful deep blue eyes. Her hand moved on top of his. And she guided him to her breast. He moved the rest of his body, caressing hers. Her back on his chest. She moved her head back a little, her lips meeting his neck. She kissed and gently bit his smooth muscular neck. She turned around and put her legs around him. At this moment Leo realized he had no clothes on. She put both her hands on his chest and pushed him down so that he was lying flat on the bed. Her hand caressed his face and her lips caressed his. Their tongues twisted and moved with each other like a familiar dance. Her mouth slid away from his and down to his neck. Kissing everywhere she moved down to his chest and then his stomach. Being sure to touch every inch of his body as she could, she went even lower. His heart began to beat faster and faster. She looked into his eyes and then wrapped her soft lips around his head. He let out a sigh. The movement of her mouth around his penis was the most satisfying and pleasurable feeling he had ever felt. Moving faster, she moved her hand to be in sync with the movements of her mouth. For just a moment she took her mouth away from him. Another sigh escaped his mouth. It had almost been a moan. Her eyes matched with his for just one second and her warm mouth began the movement again. Oh, she made him feel amazing. Again, she paused. She moved and kissed his lips. Her legs straddled him. He put himself inside her. He moved his hands onto her hips. Squeezing and rubbing her soft smooth skin. She moved up and down. Her hands were on his chest. Soft moans came from her mouth as she moved on top of him. He could feel himself coming inside of her as he let out a moan. She lowered herself to lie on top of him. They looked at each other, smiled, and just laid there.
A loud noise interrupted his slumber. “What the hell is going on?” he asked himself. Sleepily, he threw the blankets off himself and sat up. His eyes look towards the clock, 2:48AM. “Maybe it’s just drunks from the bar.” He thought to himself. “They aren’t ever quiet. Maybe I should just stay in bed. What if it’s actually something interesting, though?” Leo continued thinking as he stood up and walked to the window in his bedroom. There was a small group of people standing in the alley. They were all laughing. He saw a girl running out of the alley. He didn’t really get a good look at her. “Damned druggies. I’d better check the locks.”
Walking out of his room, Leo realized it had become much more peaceful. He looked at the front door. All three of the locks were locked. He checked the window that was next to the fire escape, locked. He started walking back to his bedroom. BANG, BANG, BANG. Someone was at the door. He paused for a moment hoping they would just leave. BANG, BANG. As quiet as he could, he moved toward the door. He moved his head closer to the door and looked through the peep hole. Leo was shocked at what he saw. “Please help me, please.” The girl quietly sobbed outside the door. She looked like Hell. Her nose was bloody as well as her lip. She had dark rings around her eyes. It was probably her eyeliner. Tears, blood, and dirt ran down her face. Her hair was messy. That’s all Leo could see from the peep hole. He heard two more knocks on his apartment door. This time they were quiet soft knocks, like she was ready to give up. He unlocked the locks and cracked the door open. “What do you want?” Leo asked coldly. “Please, I need help. Could I use your phone… or… or c could you dial 911? Please?” She could barely speak and that’s when he noticed a red mark around her neck. She had been strangled and Leo believed that wasn’t all that had happened. “What happened?” Leo asked her this question with no emotion in his voice. The girl put her hand on her mouth and started crying more. What she said to him, he would never know. All he knew is that he heard the word rape come from her mouth. He let her in and walked her to the bathroom. “Take a shower. I’ll bring you a towel. After that, we’ll talk. Understand?” He grabbed a towel from his closet and brought it to her. She stared at him with a look of shock on her face. He closed the bathroom door and walked away. He went to the kitchen and filled his kettle with water. “Maybe tea will relax her and me. I’m glad I don’t have to work tomorrow. SHIT. What have I got myself into? I can’t let a druggy into my house.” So many things were going through his mind and all he did was continue making the tea for him and the girl. “That girl. Why am I helping her? I never help people.”
His kettle started to whistle and he took it off the burner and poured the steaming water into the two mugs. He threw teabags in the cups and set them on his coffee table. The water turned off in the shower and a few minutes later the girl walked out of the bathroom. Steam from her shower rolled out of the room into the rest of his small apartment. The shower had done a lot for her. She didn’t look as traumatized. More relaxed. She took a seat on the chair next to the couch. Her big blue eyes stared at him. “Thank you for helping me.” They sat in silence, staring at each other. It seemed like it had been hours before he began asking her questions, forcing her to pull her painful memories from her mind and relive them.
