I've realized that 98.5% of people won't do anything for someone without accepting something in return. And I've accepted that. But when you realize that the other 1.5% secretly get whatever they want, whether you know or not, that hurts a lot.
Especially when that last 1.5% has your heart wrapped up in a jar on their mantle.
Sometimes, that moment in life can literally break you down to the point where you want to die. And sometimes, you do. Mentally, of course, not physically. And sometimes that moment does absolutely nothing. Well, for the time being, anyways.
What the hell is with this world, where everyone has to be rewarded for something they do?
Nobody is just "good" for "fun" anymore?
And most of all...
Why can nobody accept and admit when they're wrong?

I understand, at least slightly, how you feel. I can't say I know much about it, but I hope you know that you're not the only one who feels that moment. In that one moment, mentally you give up when really, it's your heart you wish could quit, because then you're free. And I think people can't admit they're wrong often because it means they're human. If you're human...well, you're no longer as invincible as one would hope they are, you know?
