Dee.....this was written by Acker Bilk in 1961 for a British T.V. series.It became a smash hit and stayed in the charts for a year in England.It also went to number one in the States. Have not heard anything of him since the 1980's I don't know if he is still alive or not.He must be in his eighties if he is I should think! Glad you like it!
