 Granpa Rupert warnt 'n all
Look at that ugly mush! The wrinkles are partly from squinting into the sun for 8 years working outdoors in the harsh bush and partly from the stress and worry of raising 2 girls and 1 boy from young to late teens. A divorce, seperation from my kids for years, loss of both parents and a million other heart aches. Battling MS for years has its ups and downs too.Financial worries and so on. In one year I will be 60. I have been half way round the world.I have lived, loved, laughed and cried.I have always paid my way and tried to do whats right,so my story is pretty average. My youngest son has just had his first child.I have a great wife. All in all I am happy and content. Yup,I have some regrets but all in all its good. We really need to be thankful for what we have....don't you think? Regards, your friend Rupert.

Rupert, I like your picture, and I like that you take responsibility for where you have been and what you have done. We have all made mistakes - part of being human. You have a wonderful smile, and I bet that comes from having that wonderful wife of yours. Have a wonderful week. And, I know that you will enjoy the convention. I enjoyed ours, except for that little case of TB. If you are not sure what I am referring to, check out my last blog. Take care, dear.

You know what my grandmother calls those? "Happy Lines". The more you have, the happier you were in life. ^_^

Okaaay lol grammatical correction. The happier you "have been" in life. Seems more logical then, no?

I actually did have the bestest day! :P No day is better than having your boss kiss YOUR ass for a change lol.

I totally understand that. In my head...I'm still 18 but I look in the mirror and scream bloody murder because I don't know who the hell that woman is.....sadly....she is who the world sees. =(

R...In all honesty I think your quite gorgeous for a man at your age. To me it looks as though you took good care of yourself....I think you see yourself much differently than others and that is not a white lie what I said above for it is the truth:)

Michelle...thats really kind of you to say that! I think the birth of the new granddaughter has made me realize that the clock is ticking if you know what I mean!!
When I first got married back in '73 I weighed 8 and a half stone.second marriage in '85 I weighed 9 stone.I won't say what I weigh now but its too much! My Jenny has been looking after me real well for the last 24 years,is all I can say!

I am even though there are bad times. I still have no other choice but to look at the good. Somehow that is how my mind directs itself. Guess there was so much bad that I relish the good. Even the MS doesn't get me down. Well sometimes when I am out of remission. Depends on how bad the falls are lol

Kal Talking about falls....I went down on mybutt infrond of about 50 people the other day.A kind woman rushed over to help me up and in the process kicked me in the head! Not hard though...hey ya gotta laugh!
