Idea of starting a blog has been coming to my mind for quite some time already, however there always was a question about why would I do it, or who will need to read it, and what am I gonna write there. So, it took me two years before I opened an account here at thoughts.com (This is a beautiful name and bravo! to whoever has chosen it) and then another half a year to start writing this entry. And yes I do realize that it’s way too much time for making a decision on something as ordinary as writing a blog.
So let me make an attempt on answering those three questions I have written above. Why would I ever need to write a blog? I still keep asking myself that question, but I think it’s a good way to share thoughts, information, and media with those whom I know, and those who know me. Who will ever read it? Well, hey, I guess you are reading it  so here you go. And finally what am I going to write here? That is a really hard question, because I definitely don’t plan to make this a diary with pre-suicidal notes – those of you who do use the blog for that purpose please excuse my criticism but at a same time I want to make it personal and interesting. So my plan is to use this as a place for anything and everything that I find cool and worth reader’s attention.
Since friends of mine who, I hope, will look here every once in awhile, speak either English or Russian and Ukrainian I will try to post materials on both English and Russian.
Meanwhile let’s hope for my neighbor’s wireless signal to reappear, so I at least can post this entry online
