I've loved to read since I learned how. As a kid I used to read absolutely everything I could get my hands on. I read throughout junior high and high school. A lot of novels, that my mom would call "junk books," because they were literally junk, and later American classics, and even graduated into autobiographies. Until the end of high school I always had something on my bedside table. Furthermore, I would read the newspaper almost daily, The Chicago Tribune, and even keep up with the NYtimes.com web paper. I would find interesting articles and email them to friends and family, it didn't even take that long to keep up with the news, and more importantly I enjoyed it. But lately, since I started College I haven't been able to keep up with ANY reading. I'v been trying to read the novel A Thousand Splendid Suns since September, and I get the Chicago Tribune delivered to my apartment but almost never read it. Reading is something I enjoy so much so I think I should start making more time for it. Even like ten minutes a day. I feel like i'll know what's going on in the world outside of Loyola.
