Ok, bit of a weird one this... I'm not well today so my husband's looking after my son, and has gone to the in-laws for the afternoon. Just before he went I said, drive carefully. He said, what is this, first the subliminal type thing on TV, now you.
I had no idea what he was talking about and he said that as the freeview channel changed over from Nick Jr to TMF there had been, briefly, a figure in a white robe saying that today was a non-driving day.
I said I have absolutely no recollection of seeing this. And I don't. Simon says I must've fallen asleep or left the room or something. He then said he's sure that it was just a channel ident for MTV or something.
I asked if he was intending to drive or get a bus to his parents' house. Drive of course, we don't do superstition do we? And he has done.
But that's my baby son as well as my husband in the car, and what he saw clearly rattled him enough to mention it to me.
So my question is, would you still do it? Would you still drive if you were him, or let him if you were me? |

oh wow!
that's weird!
but yeah...i think i'd do it anyway. i'm not superstitious either and technically don't believe in that stuff...i think if you decide to believe it then you can also find it controlling you to some extent. that's my opinion.
