Hooray! I've mentioned before I'm the first of my friends to have a baby. Things are starting to move though as more of our friends have married and are getting to that stage.
I saw one friend of mine a fortnight ago - she was hugely pregnant but even so insisted on visiting me because it's such a hassle to get anywhere with a small baby at the early weaning stage.
I had a dream on Thursday night that her waters had broken while she was walking through a park, and emailed her to say so. She came back saying there was no sign of junior budging yet, but would keep me posted.
Message from her husband this evening - a son, born Saturday. Hooray! Am delighted for them. They've also joined the old testament naming trend for this year. Photos were cute too.
Also so pleased there's a new playmate for my son. Can't wait to introduce them!
