Jessica Parker, aka Carrie, from Sex and the City
was on Oprah today
the cute, perky, talented, down to earth
actress
(can you tell I like her)
gave us a few great quotes during the entertaining hour long show


when asked if she was excited about the release of her new movie,
she replied
"Excited is like flip flops compared to high heels!"

I loved that quote
it tickles me
expresses how I feel at times
when regular words just don't accurately express what I'm trying to convey

later on they showed a clip of the movie

in the scene
the foursome were together at a restaurant
within ear shot of a little girl
who happened to be coloring
so, instead of using the word

'sex'

Carrie came up with a 'code word'

' coloring'

During the scene, Kim's character made a comment to the group
"I love to color
I could color all day and all night
and
I would use every crayon in my box"

so I suppose
if that was the case
one of those magazines with the wrapper hiding the cover
would be considered
"a coloring book"
???

was another quotable quote
how great is that!

This movie is going to be the
quintessential
girlfriend movie
it has all the ingredients
required to make it to the top ten
the fashions are to die for
which is definitely a component
which led me to think about
what actually makes
chick flicks 
successful
