Lynn and Roe
Well what do you know?
Every single time, without fail, whenever my friend Linda and I call each other on the phone, it’s usually when one of us are in the car. It seems like the best place to have an uninterrupted tête-à-tête.
Our lively chats inevitably take a u turn each and every time and we wind up smack dab in the middle of an animated conversation discussing our favorite subject which does not end until one of us reaches our destination.
The topic is not political
current events
best sellers,
jobs
husbands
family
kids
networking
or the financial crisis
Nope, the two of us talk about cleaning products and remedies for all sorts of maladies.
people,
believe me
We are not proud of this phenomenon!
It actually makes us feel like pathetic individuals with no life.
Yet today, right before she reached her mother’s house, I actually asked her to slow down because I had discovered something this week that I simply had to share!
Our lengthy explanations are filled with similar responses such as
are you serious?
I never knew that!
Now where did you buy that?
Spell it for me!
You have got to be kidding!
We constantly laugh about how this wacky subject entertains us as much as it does. We are just simply delighted to share whatever we have discovered since the last time we talked.
Today, we had one of our best exchanges! Most of the time, we need pencil and paper when we banter about because we have to write the valuable information down, so we won’t forget!
For safety’s sake, the one in the car will usually receive an e mail from the other with the pertinent information because we don’t have a remedy for a car crash.
Our topics cover a wide range
From what works best for a clogged toilet...
To the best stain removers and the latest craziest
products on the market.
Lynn is very familiar with thoughts.com, she is a devoted reader, and she even makes copies of my blogs to distriubute to the gals in her office
We are going to devote this space to the discovery of new information that we would like to share
My good friend Lynn
has opened my eyes to wide variety of remedies for stains, pains, spills and chills. It might not sound like it, but we both have very busy lives, so we are going to limit this to one discovery per post and we must make a disclaimer:
we in no way claim
to be the original source of all of these nifty things
Actually, some we did manage to originate, but most have been passed on and shared and we just want to share them with all of you!
We must add
We are not getting paid by any of the Manufacturers of these products!
Although, if any of them actually wanted to pay us,
we would consider closing our thoughts account and taking the cash!
Lol, in our dreams!
So please do not give us any spam slams!
Or call the spam police on us!
We are merely passing on a good thought
And what better place to do that
Than at
thoughts.com!
Please feel free to share something with the rest of us
Anything you have found that has made your life just a tad easier. Or has at least put
a little fun into doing some of those monotonous
everyday chores we all complain about!
OK
Ta dah
Here is our first one
We are going to start in the toilet
We figure we might as well, it can only improve from there!
Did you know, instead of using a plunger, to unclog a clogged toilet, that if you pour dawn liquid dish detergent in the toilet bowl, and come back a while later and simply give it a flush, the deed is done, no muss, one flush!
Let us know what happens if you try it!
Oh yeah, don’t blame us, if it doesn’t work for you, maybe you have more shit to deal with, who knows?
