I have this little pouch,
for my little pooches
it looks like a backpack,
only you wear it in the front...
it's called homeward hound.
Max and Molly
fit snug as a couple of bugs in a rug
inside.
Most of the time they look like
sightseers
actually they are a sight for sore eyes
2 balls of white tangled fur
you can't tell where one starts and one stops
If I'm loading the dishwasher, doing laundry, sprinkling, power washing or leaf blowing
they are with me
watching
all day
long
when they get tired
or
if what I happen to be doing is boring,
they simply take a nap.
My son used to do the same thing...I had one of those baby front sling things
he and I seemed glued together at times
that's another story
but my poodles are very portable
I had a doctors appointment downtown the other day and I knew I was going to be gone a long time.
I hate to put my puppies in the crate so I brought them along.
The ladies at the reception desk made a big fuss over my fluffy white fur balls.
Everyone is always amazed
when they discover I'm carrying 2 pups.
People actually stop me all the time
to talk doggie talk
and give them hugs and kisses and
to tell me their doggie stories.
However, lets just say
the doctor was less than thrilled.
Seems there is some sort of health code and dogs were not allowed in the building.
She began to reprimand me, was not thrilled I had failed to take some tests she ordered
and
just as she was about to read me the riot act,
the fire alarm went off....
which immediately woke up the pups and as we all quietly left the building in single file,
the doctor was not the only one barking orders.
the doggie were bagged
the hounds were out of bounds
