teachers need some stories for classrooms
Teachers need stories for their classrooms...
A number of teachers are using our site
as a teaching tool in the classroom.
They asked me to select some
"stories"
since there are simply way too many here on
thoughts.com
and they were overwhelmed.

I posted quite a few
and
called it
lists for the listless

and believe it or not,
they need more.

If you are willing to choose any number of your own posts
they are seeking stories or fiction,
and it must be an original body of work

... journals and rants will not work for this particular assignment.

Yours do not have to be on the same caliber as our own illustrious stickman

 please do not be intimidated

although I hope Mr Stick sends them a few
all must be rated PG
or PG13

just post
these
(any number of stories)
the sky is the limit

as an additional blog
on your very own site

chose your favorites
it will also provide invaluable
info to your readers
about a few of your fabulous words
we might have missed

e me with the name you chose
for this endeaver

to let me know you participated

I would have no other way of knowing
you actually did this

now
Just off the top of my head
and jeeze
I hate to single anyone out
I realy do
besides mr stickman

so I usually do not do it
I hate to leave people out because
they might feel bad and then...
oh, thats a different story

(we have 100,000 members people)

and quite a few stories...

although for the sake of clarity,
I will name a few…

boot lady, circe, funnyman, big D, Colorado Dreamin,
All things Buck, Difficult soul, overthehillandfaraway,
have the kind of posts they would be able to utilize.

Please do not be upset if I did not name you….
I  wanted to give you an example
of what is needed
your posts do not have to be all that profound
or a master work of fiction

people
we have way too much talent around here,
and if I named all of you
it would end up being the longest blog
in the history of all my blogs

now please realize
you are not going to know if they chose yours
or what they did with it

rest assured
they are not going to publish it under someone elses name

I do not want a million questions

pretty please!

just do it if it sounds interesting to you
do not do it,
if you have any reservations

I digress
and
if you do have reservations
people
do me a real big favor

keep those reservations to yourself

thats another story
thanks everyone

hi roe...
i think 'illustrious' is a bit of a stretch - perhaps 'illustrated' would be better.
although i have a friend who refers to me occasionally as 'stickerdoodle'. can you imagine that? a finely crafted, if slightly wobbly, chalk man such as myself, reduced to the level of a doodle.
would that be another story, roe?

cheers!
:)

Who would be so cavalier as to reduce this fine piece of art to a doodle? I have my suspicions.
Anyway, read my coyote story, it is kid friendly although I will tell you, a chicken is harmed in the making of this story.

Stick, I do believe that is another story!
one that contains a miniature poodle who loves apple strudel
It would be fabulous
I would have oodles of fun writing
the whole kit and caboodle!

circe
post a post and list a bunch of your old post, and that way, if we missed one, we could check it out... hum, you say a chicken is harmed in the coyote story, why wasn't it armed? Maybe it was a one armed chicken like the guy in the fugitive? and that's another story too, you could write a sequel, yet it would never be equal, to the original, I just hope it doesn't lay an egg?

stick, if you stick to it, you could write it!
as my kids say
it would be sweet!
or
you could choose your own topic

oh my gosh!
you mean i couldn't use the 'F-word'?
or kill off my protagonist in some original and mangly way?
jeez...
you've just cut me off from all that i know and love!!
hahahaha!!

i'll have to see what pops into my silly stickhead.
cheers!
:)

Hi toots!
Okay...I've gotten both of your emails..and I still don't get it, I don't think. I thought I did the "write" thing, but I think I screwed it up. I thought I was being helpful, but now I think I've just made a mess of things! So, perhaps you'll think about it and disregard my original thought...I think..
