relatively speaking

I have been blessed in so many ways

and I try to say thank you and not be blaize

yet
 I don't think I've given my relatives quite enough praise

sometimes I may appear to be in a daze

my husbands brothers and sisters are the salt of the earth

they been so attentive and loving to our kids ever since birth

the cousins are cherished and thought of often indeed

but I don't ever remember birthdays ... my sister in laws always take the lead

they are constantly on hand doing good deeds

good gracious, the Snyders are a special breed

then there is the Durkin clan and I have to admit

our sheer numbers have dwindled down quite a bit

 my brother and his wife and 2 kids are extremely closely knit

together they make a good fit

my parents and aunts are always a hit

another story...another rhyme
for another time
and  all my cousins possess a quick wit 

I have a brother out there who is lost, it feels like a missing limb
 one of these days I will write about him

his name is Bob and I have been thinking about him all day
Robert Brian Durkin is his name and I pray he's OK
