My port report
As some of you may know
I lost the G on my laptop
and
had to purchase a new keyboard
Until Heather shared her well kept secret with me
solving my missing g spot dilemma ...
I was not aware a computer keyboard
could be connected to another computer
with its own keyboard ...
especially a lap top
The geek squad told me
In order for the new keyboard to do its thing
it had to be connected to a port and I only had 3
One was needed for what I call my at&t stick
which allows me access to the internet
and
after much trial and error
sweat and tears
I discovered it only opened the doors to the world wide web
allowing me entrance
if it was plugged into the lower right hand port…
(boy, figuring that out was quite an ordeal and another story)
the third port of call was shared by 2 other devices
one to sync my I pod
and
the other to download or upload (whatever) my photos
from my digital camera
When the “internet stick” was in the lower left port
none of the other usb cords had enough room
to do their thing
so I was advised to purchase an extension chord of sorts
to add a few more ports?
