| Our new puppy manage to get a hold of a prescription bottle yesterday and chewed through the bottle and ate the pills. YIKES!!!! Off to the vet. I had no clue to how many she ate. No fear, the vet told us it would either make her sleepy or hyper...Lucky us we got sleepy. They are like our children, what we do for them can be just as expensive. |

Oh my goodness! What a terrible and expensive time. I wonder why the vet didn't realize before you were 500 in the whole.
Take care. |

| Animals can be so expensive but they're our children and we love them and would pay any price. Even when my baby Julian scratches the *&%$ out for me because mommy is treating him for fleas and makes me bleed all over, mommy still loves her tabby son. |

Oh MY!!! That little stinker! What happened with the red chewed up rug? Well I have a puppy story...When I was a little girl, we had a poodle, and HE WAS A BOY...well his little hooter came out as he was making nicey on my leg...I was horrified, because I thought his insides were leaking out and he was DYING, so I called my mother who was a nurse at the Emergency Room at the Hospital at the time, she had one of her EMT friends rush her to our house in an Ambulance (the poodle was her baby) and the EMT was a very good friend of hers, so of course they had the sirens blaring. She came running in and said "where is he...Where is he?" The little dog came running to her just happy as can be, not a thing wrong with him. I said..."Well it went away." She said "WHAT went away?" I said, "That red inside guts thing that came out of his pee-pee, he was trying to show me it and kept jumping on my leg, it was scary." My mother didn't know what to say. But I tell you the Ambulance driver busted out laughing so hard he had to leave the house. My mom just said she'd talk to me about it later, and left. She didn't look to happy. I didn't know, I was only about 5 years old. My older sister was telling me it was his insides. :)
I'm glad Maxie is perfect, and nothing was wrong with him!
God Bless! |
