or, getting a jump start on your day!
I was feeling lost and low this morning,
just couldn't get my motor started

let's just say

my current "challenges"
were flashing before me like a neon sign
or
a movie trailer announcing my so called coming attractions
one
after
the
other

and instead of enticing me to go see the movie
I wanted to run out of the theater

get some popcorn and chocolate covered raisins
and call it

"a day"

Ironically,
only yesterday

I was noting to myself,
how great it feels
to get up and start the day
doing the things you have to do
without giving it much thought

You load the dishwasher 
not ruminating about how many times you have done the same old thing
You turn on the radio and sort of sing and dance around the bedroom and bathroom
while making the bed and getting dressed.
with a smile on your face
for no particular reason
just glad to be among the living

then after making your
to do list

you simply begin

to accomplish something

I never ever take those days for granted

Its heaven when the day starts without having to give myself a pep talk
but
that's another story

today
because I was
stuck
I read a few posts

catching up with a few old blogging buddies
and slowly
                      but surely

without having to locate the cables

their wise and thoughtful words
gave me a jump

my motor began to turn over


naturally

I had to leave it running for while
to make sure it was working

so I probably spent a little more time 
reading
than I had originally intended

after all
I did not want to stall again in the middle of the day

The combination of inspiration, desperation, and determination

literally

moved me
so


after I write this
I'm going to brush my teeth

before I have lunch
