WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH ALL YOUR FREE TIME,
NOW THAT KATE IS IN HIGH SCHOOL?
PART 2
My oldest is getting married in 2 weeks and I have a sophmore in college and a senior in high school
and my baby, the one that was going off to first grade
is now a freshman in high school.
How times flies when you have so much free time
....NOT....
Getting 2 puppies 2 months ago put the cabash on my freedom.
(thats another story)
I did get an article published the Sept after Kate went to first grade...
but I do not think I accomplished anything else on my to do list.
Although
I
I did some rather creative problem solving
...first
....the baby books....I made stuff up,
thats right...so what are you going to do about it?
I was so sick of looking at all those blank pages
and trying to figure out where all the right answers were,
I simply made stuff up!
Who is going to argue with me?
First word....Ma Ma..of course,
favorite food, carrots....
what,
you don't believe me....prove it!
and all those .
trips to Disneyworld with the autograph books
....and the long lines waiting for Mickey
to sign his name....No problem
"Kids, why don't you go get an ice cream cone with Daddy
and I will wait in line here for you and meet you back at the teacups!"
simple solution
I would wave to them,
go throw cold water on my face
and sign all their books in the ladies washroom...
"Hi Katie, Love your dress, see you soon, Mickey"
then take my time walking back to meet them...
they were always so greatful!.....
Piece of cake....
like they know all the characters handwriting...???
I still have not labeled nor watched
my home movies, and I need to transfer them to dvd's
but I have to sell a screenplay in order to pay for that undertaking....
thats another story...
I have yet to take that computer class, but thats what kids are for...
I have added about 1 million digital photos to my collection
so now I have
hundreds of multicolored photo boxes,
all labeled..."to be sorted"
and 400 full memory cards
and not one computer with any memory left....thats another story...
As far as my family history..I don't care anymore either...just like my parents....
I'm still driving people around and doing laundry
and getting blamed for everthing that goes wrong around here
I feel like the complaint department...
and as soon as I know what exactly I want to do when I grow up
most of my friends will be retiring...
go figure?
