I managed to make it through
shuffleboard,
renting wave runners,
walking the beach,
and frolicking in the water park.
and the good new was
that on our
little vacation
to
cedar point
while at the water park
I was introduced to those
fabulous
to die for
dip and dots
those miniature round balls literally melt in your mouth
they are so light
they just can't be fattening
however
I can not find them anywhere near my house
but that's another story
and the bad news
I really did hurt my neck
big time
although
I did not realize just how bad
When we finally arrived home from vacation
and
my head was still attached
I was so thankful
my prayers were answered
dear God
help me keep my head when all those around me are loosing theirs
anyway
I mentioned my pain to my husband and he reacted as he usually does
you see
my husband
Joe
is a problem solver
he solves problems
and he is very good at it
has had a lot of practice
being married to me
so
his wife has a pain in her neck
so
lets fix it, says Joe
the very next morning
one of his guys
another story
showed up at my door
ready to work on my neck
I know what you are thinking
he put a contract out on me
lol
no
this guy was
sort of a
chiropractor
massage therapist
holistic medicine guy
who sold vitamins
he came prepared with his own little massage table
told me to lay down
now remember
I had never met him before
and he was about to put his hands on my neck
and do
whatever magic he does
I laid down on my stomach on this little bed set up in my family room
and I was supposed to trust him to know what he was doing
blind faith
in my husband
is all I can say
So
I let this guy have at it
get your mind out of the gutter
he had his way with me from the shoulders up
Actually,
although he was
as cute as could be,
he scared me to death
and proved to be a bigger pain in the neck
than I already had
twisting and turning me every which way
I thought I was back on the largest wooden roller coaster in the world
handsome even cracked a thing or two
and I don't mean
jokes
he was very serious
the entire time he was working
I was wincing in pain
don't worry he said
it might get worse before it gets better
neck injuries take a long time to heal
well, that's another story
