everything but eternity is temporary

we are babies only for a short while

toddler years blend into adolescents

high school is over before we know it
and college flies by

young love, marriage and parenthood
are one big blur

the empty nest bleeds into old age

everything is so temporary

happiness is temporary

as well as sadness

we are only here for a short time

the blink of an eye really

someone dies

you mourn

and you move on

to another temporary state

nothing last forever

except for eternity

in the meantime
remember
you can handle anything

as long as its only temporary

		Truly the best way to look at life, I think, roe. Knowing that bad times will come and go get us through them and knowing that good times are temporary makes us cherish them. Good post.

		Great post Roe. Love it. We need a reminder every now and then that this is all temporary - stops us getting bogged down in meaningless trivia. Well spoken.
