I remember when I was young I thought life was black and white
right or wrong, good or bad, then I found out everything was like the inside of your donut! You really never know whats inside and you don't know where its going to end up?

This is wonderful,
sad, yet so descriptive, my favorite line is
"She pulls numbness to her,
like a blanket, like a shield."
I never heard the word 'numbness' used quite this way, brilliant!
