climbing is so much better than crawling
I heard Marie Osmond say in an interview
"I would rather climb a mountain then crawl in a hole"

I do not know if she made that up
or the quote came from someone else

all I know is
I love it

I immediately wrote it in big letters on the chalkboard in our kitchen

the words actually gave me energy

This quote could make a big difference in a life

perhaps an individual is considering giving up
life has become too much of a struggle
they feel like curling up under their covers and never getting out of bed again
which would be like
crawling in a hole
or
on the other hand you could choose to be challenged by the difficulties in your life
and decide to
climb that mountain
of obstacles
that have been getting in your way
and
just think
of how proud you would be of yourself
when you reached the top
and looked down
to see how far you have come and how much you've achieved

climbing is so much better than crawling
I agree with Marie

Roe, thank you for sharing, I like that quote, and DO continue to climb mountains, but I'd love to hit the flat sometime soon too :)

Good Morning Roe:

I also agree with this great quote. It is one that we all need to be reminded of when we fill like giving up. Thanks for sharing it.

Much love,

Davis

That's a nice way to think about depression and hardships.

That's one of those things that's easier said. But it is the right idea.
