Hi Roe -- Mr. Computer is all better and I'm back. You and I are so much alike. I spent 3 hours this morning getting a handle on all this "newness". If you need any help I'm here. I hope you got my personal email address that I sent you, via thoughts email. I also have unlimited nationwide long distance calling to all 50 states. If you would like I could help you over the phone or I could drive to your cottage and we could work all this out while sitting lakeside, enjoying all the beauty this world has to offer. It like it but I think they took some of the focus off of writing in the menus. I also can't see my bookmarked entries all of the time. Other than that, I don't mind the change.

Not sure I like it but I have never been comfortable with change so I am not surprised.

Seems to e it's harder to find anything and more clicks to get there once you do. I miss the beta thoughts.

yes, I too do not like watching my characters dwindle as I write, it is un nerving...do our posts have a limit on characters? What is you were like far away, and circe and badlydrawn and paperflower, I mean lily, and you write little short stories, and have to limit the characters, it would be very difficult to know which ones were not as important to the story...its like sophies choice

Roe thanks for the email and for sending along the comments. Since I'm experiencing problems with pages loading it's most appreciated. My email address is on the way.

I wrote the following, this morning in the forums, in answer to a question Meredith posed.

"Many seem to be very upset about the comment character limit. Are we limited to only one comment per post? ... I think not ... and frankly I don't see the thought's policeman handing out tickets for an infraction such as this. As you are typing away and notice the character count is nearing zero ... end your sentence ... press submit and go on with your writing in a new comment box. I have been doing this for years in Yahoo IM as you are limited to the number of characters (in that venue) that can be sent at one time."

When you edit a post you lose all but the first word of your title ... after making changes or adjustments to your post you are required to manually type in the missing words in your heading ... then hit post and the whole title should be there.

the only thing bugging me is on the home page, the links are kind of all bunched up on the left side and are almost obliterated by the dark blue background which is slightly uneven. That's bugging me, but it certainly doesn't mess up the use of the new stuff, just the appearance. Who knows, maybe everybody else loves the black on navy blue and it's just me.
