Ok
Do you feel like you are in a blog fog?
Is everything a blog with you?
Do you find yourself thinking
hum
Oh, this would be great to blog about?
Before you are even finished
with the activity
that is soon to be
your next
post?
Do your friends repeatedly say
“Oh, I suppose you are going to blog about this or that!”
If you are not anonymous
In the last week,
how many times did you ask
“Have you read my blog lately?”
Or
if someone asks you a question
and
the entire answer
just so happens to be in one of your posts
Have you ever said?
“Read a long story about a short date,
its all in there.”
Did you ever mentally write a blog?
One that is sure to be a hit or hit upon?
when a computer or paper was unavailable?
and
then completely forget the entire thing
even the subject matter?
Are you guilty of being a blog repeater?
Do you forget what you’ve previously blogged about?
Do you have a clue what is in your archives?
Have you taken time to write a post
Only to realize
You wrote about that same thing a month ago?
Been there, already blogged that!
oophs!
Have you read someone elses blog
And made a comment that turned into a mini post?
We should call those
Posted notes
instead of comments!
I digress
Speaking of comments
Have you ever made the most comments on your own post?
Have you ever turned a posted note into a post?
And included it in your blog
And will someone tell me
what is the correct way to say it
Is it?
in your blog?
Or on your blog?
or
in your post
in a pigs eye?
on a pigs eye?
huh?
I digress
Do you find that you are starting to like your blog family
and friends just a wee bit more than your real ones?
That last statement would have been better
coming from one of our many anonymous bloggers
unfortunately
I’m not one of them!
so
Now to clarify and not hurt anyones feelings
Listen up
Real family and friends
Please don’t take me seriously
I’m only blogging!
have you ever obsessed about
miss spelled words
in a comment
and could not edit it?
and why is that
may I ask
Jason
aka
Ben?
sorry
thats another story!
have you ever not been able
to copy the right security code number
when posting an entry
and yelled at the computer
because
you were right
and it was wrong!
have you ever lost a post
that took a very long time to write
and it went poof
just
disappeared into cyberspace
and you let out a blood curdling scream
that sent your entire family
running to your rescue
and then ridiculing you
when they found out
it was over a post on or in your blog?
not only that
you did not say anything to them
but
actually
wanted to kill yourself?
yet
settled for a deep depression
instead?
If you have answered
Yes
to any of these questions
I'm afraid
You are in
Big Blog trouble!
big
big
blogging
trouble!
And that’s another story
But I forgot it already?
Darn
I really hate when that happens! |

Do you fear when this site changes and updates to
new and improved thoughts
that
yours
won't be new and approved?
and you will be the only one
left with your old thoughts?
and
in addition
are you worried
they must might lose all your blogs in the transition
and you will kill yourself cuz you never made any copies?
just asking?
and who knows how soon
soon is?

Wow... can’t get anymore random than that. I thought about going back and saving my blog posts to my computer recently. And yes, I find myself often telling myself I should write this down to blog about it later. When I get to my computer, I have forgotten all of those moments to blog about and I draw a blank. So I thought about buying a tiny notebook and looking like a reporter while walking around all day long writing down the thoughts that pop into my head that I want to blog about.
How is it that you are continually on target? Great post!

And have you ever told
the outside world what you are
a blogger but not dare tell
them the name of the
SITE?
in case they read things
you might not want
the outside world
TO KNOW?
But then again
THAT'S ANOTHER STORY!!!

You are preaching to the choir here, Roe. The words "change" and "updated version" send me running to the medicine cabinet for a tranquilizer.
The impending "new thoughts" is a worry. I have saved each one of my posts to CD. I then made two additional copies of that CD, in the event one gets scratched or misplaced. Happy Blogging and Peace To You.

Holy crap!
Submitted for your approval../;(...do not attempt to adjust your picture...you do not control the vertical or the horizontal...you are in the blog zone...what does that mean?...that is another story.
As for repeating what you previously talked about...it is a simple side effect of the therapy that is this. Unresolved issues will resurface. Is it wrong to repeat oneself? Not in this case. However, sometimes I wish I could just reference a post I made prior while waving a finger when I want to tell someone something I already said. Im sure I could just post the link...but Im not sure it does the job.
Im glad I am not so obsessed that I would ever get nervy and ask someone "did you see my blog??" like my life depended upon it. I would, however, wonder if that isn't how we are with the people in our lives. Are we not saying "Can you see how I feel? What I am thinking?" We want to be heard and understood. And, yes, that very well might be a postcard or whatever to another post.
I hate getting an idea for something to write and then either forgetting it later or struggling to find the words...as I am now with something I am dying to write but can't quite figure out how. But, I dont just think in terms of BLOG. Ugh;/

YES, YES, YES and well, YES to all of the above. And to E's question: YES. All of my friends at home know I blog, they just don't know where. At least I don't think so.

Lexi
I hear you, all of the above happens to me, but you know, I go back in later and edit it, so some people read one story and others read the edited version? I only wish you could edit comments..maybe the new and improved version will allow you to do that and does anyone know when that might happen? It feels like the time we changed over to the new millennium...why I think I just might blog about that if I do not forget the idea by the time I go from microsoft word to post a new blog!
