| I bought a little key chain at Walgreens that enables you to download pictures on to and carry around with you but I can not get it to work...maybe because it did not have any directions and I am technically challenged? |

hi hollis,
I did watch a few informercials...thats how I obtained my George Forsomebodys grill? and poor Joe even got into the action...one time he was so excited about the present he bought me and told me it was coming in the mail. He saw it on an informercial. I was so excited...and do you know what it was?
actually I do not know what it is called, but the slogan that accompanies it is
"Set it and forget it"
I think its some kind of a roaster...and even though you can set it and forget it while it is cooking, it takes at least 2 hours to clean that sucker...thats the part I want to forget...and poor Joe should know better...that is not a gift that keeps on giving...its a gift you want to forget or hide? |

| Oh please, that is too funny and just a little too close to home. I have learnt to walk away from every 'gadget' I see in the shops or on television. In New York I found a new shop I had never seen before and I was so excited at having a key ring which would show all those lovely photos of my little grandson, but Big Bryan wouldn't let me buy it. I even thought about finding it on the internet. Thank you Rose for saving me from myself. Now what did you call that foot thing? |

| LOL...wonderful post. It reminded me of gadgets I've bought over the years, with the good intentions of using them. Good grief, still in their boxes. When my son was around 4, he started telling me about all these cool things I needed for the kitchen. Micro crisp, he thought that product was amazing. I was wondering how he was learning of these things. Come to find out he would get out of bed in the middle of the night and watch tv. He had all the infomercials down pat. |

| I'm laughing at this one. I am the gadget person and I often buy stuff and never open it or then can't find it when I need it. That reminded me, I bought a new Tivo on Ebay, I should go use it. |

| You crack me up! Good thing I read your post because I have been tempted to buy that egg thing to remove the dead skin on my feet. I think I will stick to professional pedicures - they are more fun anyway :) |

Funny, but what Faith says, my daughter tells me all the time.
I never do because I'm afraid it won't work right.

I bought a hand held recorder once. Damn thing beeped every time you hit record or hit stop. So it was kinda of useless to use.
I bought it off of Ebay.
Kinda like a kid sticking his finger in an electrical outlet. I deserved what I got! |

| That's a lot of handy equipment you have. Good to know that you still find them useful. |
