 more wasted money
when i got out of the service my wife, kids and i didnt have health ins. i was working beside a non american who had a blue cross and blue shield card.  he told me it cost him just a DOLLAR A YEAR BECAUSE HE WAS A FARM WORKER SO THE GOV. PAID THE REST.  i was one of many busted up viet nam era vets that was really p.o.ed.  right now there are over 47 million americans without health ins.  go to any hospital  in america and what do you see.... why is that?  iam a florida cracker but i swear that they should rename florida to new new mexico or the third mexico. every year n.a.s.a. spends billions  on the space program but all i see is a planet with its heavens filled with space junk, and man put it there.  wonder where that giant junk ball thats on its way down will crash:?  n.a.s.a. just spent 650 million on a mission to pluto. pluto is about  4 billion miles from earth, that little trip --UNMANED-- will take about nine and a half years. one of the near earth like planets is about --123 TRILLION--- miles away from earth. traveling at 186,000 miles a ---SECOND--- it would take a light beam 20 and a half years to reach it. we dont have anything that will travel that fast and even if we did the human body would be mush long befor they got there. how big would a spacecraft have to be to carry that much food, water and oxygen for a 20 year trip. any one would be a fruitcake long befor that anyway. instead of wasting all that money for nothing how about insuring the 47 million --AMERICANS-- that need it..  they dont want to give a tax rebate to people that dont pay any?? go buy something at walley world for a dollar! bet it costs 1.07 to get out the door!  IF YOU ARE AN AMERICAN THAT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!

First let me say that I agree with your consternation with the state of our health care system. As far as immigrants are concerned, there are pros and cons. Pro: without the immigrant/alien work force our country wouldnt have a prayer in sustaining and expanding our industrial needs. Con : yes the aliens and immigrants cost the average american quite a bit. And they also on the surface get cut quite a bit of slack in the healthcare/homebuying/tax departments. But as long as the upper echilon is allowed to employ "cheap" labor with little or no penalties this isnt going to change. Hence the saying "Money talks". The rich are gonna keep getting richer at the expense of the middle class, and the middle class also get stuck footing the bill for the welfare recipients ( by no means is this a shot at people who dont have a choice in the matter, but they are few and far between ) and those that claim disability who walk across a parking lot at Wal-mart using a cane and hobbling and upon their exit are walking upright whistling a tune and carrying a PlayStation3 apparantly no longer encumbered by the weight of ill-gotten gains in their wallet. I love America and I love chocolate milk. I'm slightly lactose intollerant so at times both make me wanna puke.
