Pain does not discriminate. Everybody has it.

I keep searching for something to hit me.  Something that will take all the pain away.  I keep looking for that perfect saying, perfect quote, perfect Bible verse.  I keep waiting for that 'moment', that moment of clarity.  As Oprah would put it, I keep waiting for my "Ah-ha Moment."

It's like that part in every scary movie when the music gets slow and eerie, the lights get darker and every muscle in your body tightens as excitement and adrenaline rush through your body...all this build up continues only for the character to realize that the lurking in the corner of the room was caused by...his own shadow.

Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong. Maybe there is no "Ah ha moment." There may never be a day when I wake up and all my problems are cured just by a simple realization.  After all, no garden blooms all at once.  It takes planting, watering, grooming, and discipline.

So all that said, my "ah ha" moment is realizing there isn't one.  I'm going to be okay.
