1. What would your ideal work community look like?
Beside the job charactor and the money the job can offer you, the humanity environment of that job,often called work community, acts a crucial role in a personal career. If we can work in a ideal working community, we will have a good mood counter with the upcoming challenge in the work. Also, this harmonious environment will bring benefits to the company. The more employee satisfied, the more passion they will put into their work.
One of the most important role in work community is the boss. For me, I expect my boss to concern more about their employees. This man should trust their employees, give them enough space and oppotunities to learn knowledge, improve themselves. In my point of view, a good boss should like a father, considering employees as his(her) pricious treasure. A selfish boss who only cares about exploiting the employees' money will not be advocated by the subodinates. Also, the boss should not be doctrinairism, he/she should give enough space for the employee to bring their thoughts and abilities into play. Anyway, since the boss is the spirit of a company, he/she will dicide the whole work community's quality.
Another important role in work community is the colleages. This is also important to the company since a solidary group will double the working efficiency, while a dispersed group will half the working efficency. For me, I do not hope my colleages to be crafty, self-centered, mischeivous. No matter what ability they have, they should foucus on their own job simutaneously helps other people. Person who are always offish or incline to making trouble with others will harm others. I hope in the future my colleages will be smart, sympathetic, and easy to communicate.
2.How can you best balance your short-term needs with your long-term goals?
Before answering that question, I must to indentify what is my short-term needs and long-term goals. For me, the short-term needs maybe those very realistic staffs, like money, housing, exploit social relationship, oppotunity to get into the industry. In all, these staffs are all related with physical world. Though it is called "short-term needs",it will cost you couple of years to accomplish it. During this long period of time, I should always encourage myselves "this is only a temporary period, it is just a path pass me to the other side". Long-term goals, on the opposite, should be a ideal, natural ,original thought that sparked from my own brain. this goal should be pure "mental", I should not send any "physical meaning" to it. Like the short-term needs, long-term goals does not literally means "long-term", howerver, it may appears only in the later time of your life, and also maybe, very short, or even will not come forever. Anyway, it is worth for me to pursue with my whole career because it is the real thing you want from your spirit.
