Sister Leisa wins the award for longest comment ever!!! :) But seriously, we always appreciate all the comments, advice, and encouragement… I don’t often comment on the comments, but be assured that we do read and appreciate them all.

Anna is continuing to improve in her vision and hearing. Today I appeared suddenly just in front of her when she was sitting in her stroller, and she freaked out – I hadn’t had a shower yet, so it perhaps wasn’t surprising, but it was still pretty awesome :0  She also is often closing her eyes when we switch her suction machine on.

The baclofen seems to be working really well. She was totally relaxed today without appearing to be too out of it. PRAISE GOD! Just to be clear, we did not discontinue the valium – the baclofen is in addition to it, not instead of. The plan is to wean her off the valium, but it’ll probably take a little time.

Tomorrow we’re heading to Columbus to see the trach lady, PLEASE PRAY for wisdom in our decisions; we’re still hoping to move the process of removing the trach along. 

And thanks for all your help with the generator. I still need to find someone who can hook up a propane line from the house outside for a hookup to the generator. If anyone knows someone in Lima who can do that, I’d sure appreciate knowing!
