| Anna Grylls update Wednesday 10pm

Anna’s leg was quite swollen today, we are putting ice on it again to try to keep it down, and we are doing both Tylenol and Motrin round the clock now to keep her pain down. If you pick her up wrong you still hear an ominous crunching sound… Otherwise, she had a decent day. She went to hyperbaric treatment and was quite relaxed when she got home. Apart from posturing when she’s stressed, she is more relaxed now. PRAISE GOD! Her secretions also continue to improve, slowly but surely.
We still get tantalizing responses from Anna, but they often don’t get repeated. For instance, we very regularly give her eye-drops, since she doesn’t blink. Normally when you put the first drop in, she fairly quickly closes both eyes in response. But sometimes she doesn’t do anything at all, just continues to stare, wide-eyed. Sometimes, when you just steady your hand on her forehead, she’ll close her eyes, anticipating what’s going to happen. And just once (at least the only time I’ve seen) she closed her eyes as I was moving toward her with the eye-drop bottle, before I even touched her.
Lael was sick again today, she’s been in bed since she got back from Wauseon, and they won’t be going tomorrow. PLEASE PRAY that she recovers quickly!
We continue to give thanks for y’all, from Liz going to Wauseon, to Courtney coming to cook us dinner, to kentlass lighting candles for Anna (http://www.thoughts.com/kentlass/blog/anna-25491/), to so many of you praying and doing so much. Thank you, it means a lot to us.
