| Anna Grylls update Wednesday 10pm
|
|
|
I honestly thought it was already Thursday. Whoops. At least I remembered our wedding anniversary yesterday... We went to the cafeteria for lunch together. It was real romantic. :)
Anna went down and up today, I don't want to over-state the improvement, but she opened her eyes a little while ago, did the Annie B Shuffle, and responded to our touch when we were moving her limbs (which are warm and supple) It is the first she's done these things in two days. I believe something happened.
Addison has a big day tomorrow - she will have EKGs and all kinds of other tests. Her parents and grandparents appreciate you all praying so much. They came and prayed with us this evening, it was truly anointed.
All thanks be to God Almighty, the creator of all things, King of kings and Lord of lords.
So many of you have left voicemails, comments, texts etc., I'm sorry I haven't replied to them all, but they are all SO much appreciated.
BTW, for those of you who don't know her, Jochebed (Jay) is Lael's sister - she lives in Arizona, and got here Sunday night. Sounds like she left the house faster than I did. :)
God bless,
Richard

E-23 And that old man, I never will forget. He put his hand upon the shoulder of that little young lady, probably in her late teens; he said, "Sister, dear," he said, "you're looking to that machine. That's all you got to look to, but I'm looking at a Divine promise." Amen.
The next morning the boy took his breakfast. And he's married and got a child now. See? The woman, all she knew was to do just what that machine said. But this old man looked; faith pierced beyond that. And he saw God Who was able to do the exceedingly abundantly, the God Who had
promised never to fail us or to leave us or forsake us. He... Depends on what you're looking at. The Christian looks at things they don't see, because they walk by faith. Is that right? We believe it because the Bible has said so. They believe it. That's how we believe, is because God said so. Faith tested, tried, it proves out a hundred percent. God's under obligation to answer that faith.

E-42 And when we turn aside today looking at this, and looking at conditions, and looking at symptoms--symptoms... Oh, we say, "Now look, I was prayed for last night. You see, my hand's no better." And it never will be like that. No, sir. You don't look at the symptoms; you look at the promise. Amen. The promise is what it is. Look Who made the promise. It was God Who made the promise. It's God's Word Who's in authority. It's God Who spoke the promise. That's Who it is.
And you look at your symptoms. Symptoms are one of the greatest hindrance God has to work with, is symptoms. And if ever if anything that is wrong is a man or woman who'll look and say, "Now, I don't feel any better. Now, they prayed for me over at my church last night. And they believe in Divine healing, but really I don't feel any better."
You don't never go by your feelings. Jesus never did say, "Did you feel it?" He said, "Did you believe it?" See where you get the thing all turned around? It's your faith in His promise that does it. Like Elisha, he wanted the promise. And if Elijah said he could have it, if he kept his eye on him, he kept his eye on him. That's all. Amen.

E-31 And the little nurse looked over, didn't know what it was all about, and she said, "Sir, do you understand, that the best doctors we got in this country has said that that child will be dead within the next five hours?" She said, "This cardiogram thing for his heart." I don't know nothing about it. She said, "It's went all the way down, and never in medical history, when that ever drops, does it ever come back again."
And the old father walked over, put his arms around the little nurse, and he said, "Honey, see, I--I feel sorry for you. You're looking at that chart, that machine, because that's all you're trained to look at." Said, "You're looking at that machine; I'm looking at a divine promise, that was made by God." The boy is married and got two children now. Miss Bartell, if you're here... All right. There you are. See, that's what makes things real. It depends on what you're looking at.

Bro. Richard and Sis. Lael... Your post tonite was absolutely inspiring...tonite we had bro. Jewel Forney visiting and he preached on FAITH and God's promises "ALL things", and I had submitted your prayer request for prayer... I myself felt something happened as we prayed for little Anna... It was probably after 9pm as they take the prayer request after the sermon... We are accepting NOTHING less than a complete restoration and recovery. Our hearts and prayers are continually with you and your family. :) Sis. Nicole & Bro. Daryl Townsend

Wow! I'm still in awe after talking to you tonight and thinking how AWESOME our God is. Just praying for something positive, as I'm sure others were, to happen before you went to bed and then to hear of the prayer that went up in her room, as well as prayers all over the world, and His presence being so real and then our little Anna showing a change. God is sooooo good!!!! It lifted my faith as much as yours and your positive confession will be manifested in time. We love you guys and Jochabed and Anna so much and continue to pray for special strenth for all of you. The Hatfields
And by the way everyone, their other four children are doing fine.
