We went to see Dr. Haman this afternoon regarding Anna’s broken leg. He took a couple new X-rays, and announced that it was looking good, we shouldn’t mess with it, and sent us home. No body cast, plates, pins, nothing. PRAISE GOD!!! I should write that in bigger letters – PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!
We are most thrilled and relieved. Thank you ALL for your PRAYERS!!!! It’s not easy dealing with the leg in a splint and bandage, but it’s much better than a cast.
I posted a picture of the original X-ray, you can see how bent the lower leg is off to the right. The X-ray today showed the leg nice and straight, and the break nice and straight in the frontal direction also. It’s displaced front to back, but not so bad that the doctor felt it should be messed with. PRAISE GOD!!!
The doc. said that her left leg might grow longer or shorter than it should, and it might need re-breaking later and setting if it's a problem when she's walking around. PLEASE PRAY that it would heal completely fine!!
I also posted a picture of Anna when she got home this afternoon.

Lael and Liz head back to Wauseon tomorrow. Hyperbaric is good for wound healing!
We are still investigating how Anna’s leg got broken. Child Protection Services, MRDD (local Ohio agency), Medicaid, and the nursing agency are all now involved. PLEASE PRAY that this issue would be resolved soon.
God bless,
Richard
