Anna is doing very well at the moment. She hasn’t needed any oxygen at all for at least a week, maybe two. The nurse last Saturday said her lungs were completely clear, for the first time in a long time. PRAISE GOD! Her hands are now open most of the time, rather than being clenched closed. She often drops the rolls we put in her hands. She’s breathing much better when we plug off her trach as well. It may just be that her lungs are better, so she doesn’t have such a hard time breathing, so she doesn’t need so much air, so it’s easier for her to get what she needs around her trach. She seems more relaxed in general, more alert, and has less secretions. Her leg that was broken is rotating well around in the socket, and her ankles aren’t too bad at the moment, although her knees are as stiff as ever. Her heart rate is lower too, sometimes it even drops below 100bpm while she’s sleeping. She isn’t doing anything “new”, but she just seems healthy and ready to break through! PRAISE GOD!
Emily’s baptism on Sunday was absolutely wonderful! It was a great service – the newest Mast was dedicated, Emily was baptized, and there was dancing in the aisles. PRAISE GOD!
I uploaded a video of the baptism to:

And Jakey learned to ride his bike on two wheels this evening. Hurrah for Jakey!
Anna has two more days of hyperbaric to go, then she’s done with this course. Thursday she gets her botox shots in her legs.
Thank you Jesus for healing Annie B!
I love spring!
God bless,
Richard
