| Anna Grylls update Tuesday 10pm

We had a good visit to Dayton for the MRI today. Anna did great, she didn’t get upset with the anesthetic at all, and the MRI was done in less than half an hour. We saw the doc immediately afterwards to look at the scans and get the result. The doc said that she saw some blood vessels that were slightly larger than normal, some fluid spaces similarly slightly larger, and she saw some places without Myelin where she might expect to see it (but she might not, since Anna’s not yet 2 years old, and myelin gets laid down in the first two years). Cutting through the technical blah was a bit tricky, but the bottom line was that the Doc. saw nothing majorly wrong with Anna’s brain according to the MRI, just some things that weren’t perfect. Indeed she said Anna's hippocampus and the cerebellum looked completely normal.
Which was very encouraging!

I must confess I enjoy a little encouragement every now and again. I got a whole bunch at church on Sunday, now more today!
Anna was given some robinul (for some reason this comes out yellow, I have no clue why) before the MRI to keep her secretions down. It worked fantastically well, so we are going to give it a try to see if we can find a dose that dries up her secretions a little without making her drowsy or making them too thick. If we can do that it would be a big help for her and us, so PLEASE PRAY that it works!

Wow! What progress!! My computer is tucked away in an unheated room so I have not been on it much lately. School started again and I now have access to computers in a heated room. Yay! Meanwhile, Anna's progress is wonderful! Turning her head is huge, and the fact that her brain looks good is even better! Glory be to God!!! We eagerly anticipate the day you tell us she has started swallowing. Meanwhile, we are keeping the family in our prayers.

Praise God for healing Anna! God's promises are manifesting and your confession is bringing Anna's complete healing into plain view. We are encouraged with you on all the progress. I expect even more good news in the days ahead.
