| Anna Grylls update Tuesday 10pm

Today was a more average day, Anna had her hyperbaric treatment, and was quite relaxed (by her standards).
BUT, she has a fever (102F) and is starting to snot again – with green stuff coming out of her trach. PLEASE PRAY that she would get to feeling better! They say that a trach is a “bacterial highway to the lungs”, which seems about accurate. We are probably going to be back on antibiotics tomorrow unless the Lord intervenes tonight.
Also PLEASE PRAY for her back, she has been looking to the left now for so long that her back is significantly curved most of the time. We try to position her so she can’t twist it, but she usually manages it anyway. It is getting a little easier with her relaxing more, but it still needs to straighten up considerably.
FINALLY, her trach stoma (the hole in her neck) is a bit red tonight, PLEASE PRAY that it would heal up.
And then there are the usual prayer requests.
We REALLY appreciate all of you out there praying for Anna. It’s so hectic dealing with everything here and it is SUCH an encouragement to know that you all are out there, all around the world, praying for her. Thank you!

BTW, if you were wondering, the “B” stands for “Banana”. In the USA, “Anna” rhymes with “Banana”, so “Anna Banana” is a common nickname for an Anna. Trouble is, if you have an English accent (as I do) it doesn’t rhyme, so I had to shorten it to “Annie B”. Hope that made sense… J

i will pray that she relaxes, i hope she feels better soon( referring to the green stuff) i will pray especially hard that she gets well enough to avoid the anti biotics tommorow.

Thank you for explaining the "Annie B" nickname! In the midst of everything it seemed so trivial so I didn't want to ask, but I was wondering.
We are praying so much for you. God just opens my eyes more and more to His goodness every day. My little Katie was sick the other night and she is just starting to talk and could tell me her belly and teeth hurt. At the same time I was thankful for the communication, my heart was burdened for you and Lael because you have to do so much guesswork with Anna right now. Just the little everyday things that we take for granted have made me think of Him more and more. Thank you for letting us be a part of this miracle. We love you guys! Wake up Anna!

It's really nice that you took time to tell us about Annie B. My daughter was always called Tina B, so I wondered also. Our prayers continue and Anna is creating her own miracle to everyone who reads about her. May all the problems lessen and your faith in her recovery deepen. Elaine

Bro.Richard and Sis.Lael,
Is Anna on resp.treatments? Sometimes you can lavage out her lungs to clean them out so to speatk. Good respiratory toiletry can prevent Anna from being on antibiotics as often. Also Soverign Silver is a natural product that acts similar to antibiotics without the side effects. Remember to replace Anna's good intestinal bacteria that the antibiotics will kill. Soverign Silver is colloidal silver. Good probiotics (good replacement intestinal bacteria) can be bought on line or at a good health food store. Anna should be getting chest percussion and resp.treatments with any resp. infection.
Try laying Anna on her left side, as this will make it harder to contract her neck to the left. Does Anna see an Orthopedic pediatrician. They may have a device to try to fix this left contracture. A curved spine can cause alot of problems in the future if left untreated. There is probally something that can be done for this. I am praying for you and trust God gives you the victory in all things. Please call if you have any questions regarding my comments.
