 Anna Grylls update Thursday 1pm
Anna came off the ventilator last night about 11pm.  Praise God!  She is doing fine breathing on her own.  She is on a small amount of oxygen (30%) still, but they expect to wean her off that as well in time.  She's just continuing to get stronger.

Lael got to hold her this morning, you can see a photo by clicking "photos" at the top of the page and then search for "anna grylls".  The big blue tube in the photo is carrying the oxygen to her trach, which is a white tube going into her neck (you can't see the actual trach in the picture, it's hidden).

Holding Anna was bittersweet for Lael - it was wonderful for her to hold Anna, but hard to see Anna still intubated and not yet acting like the little girl we know and love so much.  Please continue to pray for patience and strength as Anna completely heals!

Lael wanted me to ask if any of y'all out there are experienced with trachs and G-tubes, caring for them etc.  So I checked my email just before writing this and found an email from a nurse in Albuquerque, offering her help in that exact area!  God is so gracious to supply our EVERY need!  If anyone else has any insight, please let us know.  If you ever need to get a hold of us and you don't know our numbers, you can send an email through this website if you join.

Thank you Jesus for healing Anna!

God bless,

Richard

Bro.Richard and Sis.Lael,
What a beautiful photo! Thank you. The beautiful symbol of motherhood,Mom and baby. Seeing Anna lying in Lael's arms makes me even more determined to pray for an immediate awakening of baby Anna.

Please don't worry about taking care of a trach or G-tube. The hospital staff will teach you everything you need to know. They will also have nurses come to your house at first to help you. Just focus on your little treasure and all the progress she is making. "God will make this trial a blessing......"
"When you've done all you can to stand, just stand" and "Be certain of God'I don't write these words because you aren't aware and already doing this. I write them just to encourage you. I think in our darkest of times only the word can reach beyond the emotions to bring that peace that passes all understanding. That Sixth Sense passing thru us.

God Bless and strengthen you all,

Love, in Christ

Bro. Richard and Sis. Lael,

We were so happy to know you could hold little Anna today. I understand the bittersweet of it for Lael and pray that this will not be a long drawn out stage for you. We know God is in control and has a plan, but keep praying for strength for you and Lael while He carries out His plan until it is finished.

Our prayers are always with you through out the day and we are still keeping Addison in our prayers too. Did she get to go home?

God bless you,

Brian and Lucille Erickson, Michigan

PRAISE OUR WONDERFUL SAVIOR!! What an awesome picture, a mother's love! Satan must have so many black eyes by now! He just keeps being defeated time and time again! The messages I've been listening to lately of Bro. Branham's have all seemed to be pertaining to little Anna! They've just been so encouraging!!One thing to remember, because we know satan is working on your patience, 1000 years is as ONE day unto the Lord!!!! This has not been anytime at all to our Lord!!! And last night the preacher talked about how that satan KNOWS who you( and little Anna) are, but all he has is a bow with NO arrow!!!What are we worried about!!! OUR GOD REIGNS!!!!Keep praising HIM! He loves to hear His children's praises! We are praising HIM for little Anna's perfect- complete healing, for the strenth He has given you all and for His faithfulness! Thank you JESUS!!!!
Did Addison get to go home?
We love you all, Joe and Kim Kirchner

Bro. Richard and Sis. Lael,
I am so glad you are finally able to hold little Anna. Thank the Lord for all the small steps she is taking, they will eventually add up to a real change. Your family is continually in my prayers. With love, Sis. Sara Lewis

That's such a sweet picture! I understand that bittersweet feeling but she has got to draw so much strength from being in your arms!

The waiting is the hardest part. As someone else said, when you only check this twice a day you see progress. When you sit there in a chair for 12 days you can get a little ragged.

God will continue to hold you. We will continue to lift your entire family in prayer and this too shall pass!

Much love and blessings,
Larry & Deb

Lael and Richard,
Just wanted you two to know that David and I have been praying for Anna every night and are believing with you that Anna is being completely healed.
Tonight we were doing our devotions together and when David read Mark 5:21-24, reading how Jairus approached Jesus, how he fell at Jesus' feet and implored Him earnestly, David felt the Holy Spirit was showing him that this was how we were to pray for Anna tonight. We continued to read through Mark 5 and in verse 43 -
Gripping her by the hand, He said to her, Talitha cumi - which translated is, Little girl, I say to you, arise.
We look forward to the report of the day that little Anna will be running and playing at home again.
Love
David and Irene
