 Anna Grylls update Thursday 10pm
Today was a relatively quiet day.  Lael, Liz and Anna went to Wauseon, it rained, there were no bills in the mail, no phone calls from doctors, nurses, case managers…  Anna was quite relaxed, did well on her Passy-Muir valve, slept well last night (6 hours).  Dinner was, as usual, fantastic.  Anna had massage and physical therapy, two wonderful Sisters came over and cleaned upstairs.  Miah played with Bubba, we had a tickle/pillow-fight, and I actually managed more than 8 hours work…
Sounds almost like an ordinary day.  I guess by recent standards, it was.

Based on the evidence I’ve seen, Anna is definitely much more relaxed in general, and particularly more relaxed on the days she has the hyperbaric treatment.  PLEASE continue to PRAY for her knees, stiffness, and that she would begin to show conscious response!  And swallow!  BTW, the sores on her thumbs are much better, and her leg is just fine now (although her knees still aren’t bending well).

Thank you all for your love and compassion toward Anna.  Thank you Jesus for healing Annie B!

God bless,

Richard

So glad to hear that you had a lovely day. Reminds me of a song I like to sing when I wake up in the morning:

Every day is a new day with my Lord,
He promised He never would leave me,
For He said it and I've read it in His word,
Every day is a new day with my Lord.

Love you all so much!

Praise God for a calm day! I hope you can put together a string of them. Isn't it amazing how the most bizarre things in the world can seem ordinary after a while? I'm so glad you are receiving so much help! You truly have a marvelous church out there!

Still believin'

Have been busy with multiple issues, but am always glad to hear how Anna is continuing to improve. When Benjamin went through his trial with Autism, you learn to rejoice in every little improvement. :) And trust him for the complete healing. I have been battling my own issues, but Monday I am expecting to hear a good report from my cardiologist. I am feeling like I have a little more energy with every new day. I guess the devil wasn't happy...He gave me a fright this week. Benjamin had another faint/seizure issue. He is fine, but it sure shook me up. Sometimes you think everything is behind you, then he raises his ugly head. But that is when you say "BOO" back. :) Give little Anna hugs from all of us.

WATCHMAN.WHAT.OF.THE.NIGHT_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 58-1130
E-4 And there is heavy hearts today. As since entering the church, I see those on stretchers or cots, and some with their sleeves up from affection--infections in their arms, and others I have heard that has lost loved ones... And oh, it is a sinful and wicked world, but yet all these things has to be mastered in the Lord Jesus Who has told us that all things are working together for the good to them that love God.
And we are consoled this morning to believe that many of these things are to bring us to our knees. And we like to think of the Scripture, that they that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as an eagle. They shall run and not be weary; they will walk and not faint. And as a poet has said, "Teach me, Lord, teach me, Lord, how to wait."

WHAT.DOES.THOU.HERE_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 59-0301E
E-47 If you're listening to hear... Not no remarks, no reflections, but if you're listening to hear a--a--of a great revival somewhere where ten thousand people are gathered, go ahead, you're listening to the wrong thing. "I'll go over and see. They say they have great crowds." That don't make a bit of deference. The race tracks has that. Everything else has that. The rock-and-rollers have that. "I'm going over to... I'm going over for something else." If you go for anything else...
But if you're listening for anything else but that still small voice, get back in the cave. Go back under the juniper tree until we can prepare, hold yourselves quiet and wait. Let the thunders go by; let the earthquakes shake. Let the rushing winds go, and the fire sweep, whatever it will. I think of that song:
Teach me, Lord, how to wait when hearts are aflame,
Let me humble my pride, call on Your Name;
Keep my faith renewed, my eyes on Thee,
Let me be on this earth what You want me to be. (That's what I want to do.)
They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength,
They shall mount up with wings as an eagle, (You believe that?)
They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint;
Teach me, Lord, teach me, Lord, how to wait.

95 I think that song is so pretty, wish I could sing. I always wanted to sing. See? "They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like an eagle, they'll run and not be weary, if they walk, they'll not faint; teach me, Lord, to wait. Teach me, Lord, to wait down on my knees." I like that. "And in Your Own good time You'll answer my pleas; teach me not to rely on what others do, but just wait in prayer for an answer from You." That's it. That's the true servant that waits for his Master's turn, knowing this, that the Scriptures cannot fail regardless of what happens. The Scripture's got to stand true. In such a time as that, is when God usually steps in to help.

We had prayers for Anna this morning at prayer breakfast and this evening she will be prayed for at a special prayer supper. On Monday there will be prayers for her in a united service of all the churches in Holywood, Co Down at a special healing service taken by Brother David Jardine, a very special man. Isn't it wonderful that God never sleeps and hears us no matter where in the world we are. So while you and Anna sleep, we are praying. I have made up a little montage of the photos you post of Anna and the family so we can all see how special she is. God Bless, Elaine
