Anna had a rough day today. She is breathing shallow and fast, and her blood oxygen level is hovering around 90, often in the high 80’s. She is not doing well at all. If she was in the hospital, she'd be on a ventilator. However the doc says the best place for her is at home because she would run a tremendous risk of catching something worse if she was on a vent.
This morning we woke up hearing our nurse (from downstairs) shouting “you need to get your Dad RIGHT NOW” (turned out she was instructing Jakey, who had gotten up early, but wasn’t moving too fast…

). Adrenaline is a much more powerful stimulant than caffeine… Anna had a big ol’ load of goo in her throat that wasn’t moving. We prayed for her and the goo moved and we managed to suction it out. We spent a lot of the day standing by her bed just helping her breathe.
Right now we are trying to seek the Lord’s will – she is in a critical condition and we are just looking for His mind in what to do. PLEASE PRAY for wisdom and mercy.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Thank you Jesus for healing Annie B!
God bless,
Richard
