 Anna Grylls update Sunday 9pm
Anna is continuing to get stronger.  Her cough and gag are getting better, but not yet strong or consistent enough.  It just seems like she is still too sleepy to cough and gag as she should.  PLEASE PRAY, this is basically what's holding her in intensive care, and about all that's stopping her from going home.

We also need to get the ventilator tube out as it's an easy access for bacteria.  They found some bacteria growing in her lungs today that can cause pneumonia, so she is now on antibiotics again and they're giving her breathing treatments through the ventilator tube.

So, the lack of good gag keeps the ventilator tube in, which causes more problems (infection) and stops her from going home.  PLEASE PRAY that this is resolved quickly.

Bliz, Jake and Em came today with Darren and Mary.  It was wonderful to see them but painful to say good-bye.  Please pray for them as well, they all in their own way miss their little sister.

The prayer requests stay the same:

Gag and cough
Strength
Consciousness.  For the last two days there has been no outward response or movement from her - no opening eyes, no shuffle, very little movement at all.

I really appreciate the comments on the blog from this morning.  The waiting is very hard for me right now, and I appreciated the lift!  Please pray for strength for us also.

Addie's parents came over today, her heart medication has been cut again and she's doing great - perky and energetic.  She may get to go home soon!

God bless you all for your support and prayers!  All glory is to God!

Richard

We certainly expected to see great things today, but the day is not over yet (9:00 pm). So many prayers and with believers in one accord. God is always on time, but I pray He helps you be able to wait on Him. I know you're anxious to have your family all back together again. Our hearts go out to you. We just continue to call on the Lord for you both and dear Anna, our "China Doll". All our love,

Bro.Richard and Sis.Lael,
We had prayer at church today for Anna. Bro. John Andes led the prayer and the congregation really cried to the Lord for Anna's complete and immediate recovery to consciousness. Bro. Byskal took his text from Psalm chapter 23 "He prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemies. The Word (Bread of Life) is there for our strength and all the answers we need. Right in the Midst of our enemies. Some of my favorites during our darkest trial: Victory Day, I Know, and the opening prayer on The Masterpiece. We are expecting great and immediate changes for Anna. We will continue to pray even thru the night hours.
God Bless you with peace that surpasses understanding, and a Supernatural Faith.
Love in Christ,
Bro. Gary and Sis. Leisa St.John

ps Did you get our last email from last night?

Bro Richard and Sis Lael,
We admire the way you are keeping Faith through this valley. We wanted to share a quote with you from the message titled Stand Still:
Now, what made Caleb so sure of it when the opposition was so great? It's according to what you're looking at, Caleb was looking at the promise of God. The other ten was looking at cirucumstances. If you go to look at cirucumstance, or to look what's around you, you are sure to fail. But you must never look at what's around you. The Christian don't look at circumstances; he looks at the Word and stands still. God said so; that settled it.......It's God's promise that counts.

God bless you all. We are praying for you.

Praise God for the good news in Addie's life! It is so exciting to see God prooving Himself strong on that hospital floor. The staff is got to be sitting up and taking notice by now.

Isaiah 30:18-26
18 Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.

I'm so sorry! I know waiting is hard and a hospital is a hard (and scarey) place to wait. God hasn't brought Anna this far to let her down now. We will continue to believe that God's timing is perfect and His healing is complete.

I said we would put up a shout today and we had a blow out service. Bro. Duvall didn't even get to preach. The Holy Ghost fell and God's presense was sweet. I was pumped for updates and Melody sends her love.

We will continue to pray for strength and courage for your family and those on the front lines with you. We love you!

Dear Bro Richard & Sis Lael

We attend BCF in Lima and have been getting regular updates on Anna's condition. I was just told about this website and have read everything posted thus far. I just wanted to tell you how this has affected my little girls, ages 3 and 5. They were very worried about Anna after hearing about it at church. Every night since last Sunday they pray for her before bed time.

My mom read my 5 year old the postings on this site during there visit at grandmas. Today she quoted to me every improvement Anna has had thus far! My 5 year old new more than I did!! I believe children have a special ability to have faith in God when they pray. Doubts don't seem to plague them like us adults. I am sure there are many young children like my own - holding Anna and your family up in prayer.

We will be sure to continue to do so. We know and can rest assured that God will answer abundantly above all that we have even thought or imagined....not just what we have uttered! God Bless & Thanks for the updates!

Bro. Richard and dear Sis. Lael, As a parent my heart continually goes out for you both and of course for Anna, a daughter that I never had... I was blessed with 3 boys... But just as my youngest son's healing did not happen over night, I must encourage you, not to be swayed by what your carnel eye only sees... look to the unseen ONE...because his strength is perfect when our strength is gone.... Benjamin was diagnosed with Autism at 2 1/2 but we LIVED 24/7 with the SYMPTOMS for 6 mos. before GOD brought his healing, and even then it has been a daily battle but a continual victory... Everyday, Benjamin steps into that perfect body that we claimed. Like you said, just keep walking around those walls... they MUST come down. If GOD has spoken, then WHO can stand before it. It must come to pass. We continue to hold you and your family and little Anna before our Lord. "Trust in the Lord, with ALL thine heart, and lean not to thine own understanding, BUT in all thy ways, Acknowledge him, and HE WILL direct thy path"... :)

Dear Lael and Richard, He didn't bring us this far to leave us....
I know and have faith that God has answered our prayers!
----------
Encamped along the hills of light,
Ye Christian soldiers, rise.
And press the battle ere the night
Shall veil the glowing skies.
Against the foe in vales below
Let all our strength be hurled.
Faith is the victory, we know,
That overcomes the world.

Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory!
O glorious victory, that overcomes the world.

His banner over us is love,
Our sword the Word of God.
We tread the road the saints above
With shouts of triumph trod.
By faith, they like a whirlwind’s breath,
Swept on o’er every field.
The faith by which they conquered death
Is still our shining shield.
-------
You're in my thoughts and prayers day and night. May the God of Israel continue to hold you up - and give each and all of you strength.
