Two extraordinarily wonderful people came and installed our new generator today. To Brett and Mike, thanks - you are very kind. As I told them, now we have the generator installed it of course means that the power will never go out again, but that’s OK!
I also wanted to give special thanks to Sis. Courtney, who has come over a whole lot of times and cooked us dinner.
For those of you wondering what this blog is about, it started in July when our 1-year-old daughter Anna drowned in a small pond in our backyard in Lima, Ohio. She spent a couple of weeks in a coma in intensive care, and then another six weeks or so in hospital before coming home in September. She has a trach to help her breathe, and is fed through a J-tube which goes through a hole in her stomach into her intestine. She doesn’t respond a whole lot to any stimulation – she doesn’t smile or move much, and she doesn’t seem to focus on objects with her eyes. Despite her poor medical prognosis, God has been faithful throughout it all to be with us and help us, and we believe she is completely well, and we’re just waiting to see it!
Anna has an appointment with her GI doctor tomorrow, and then not much going on the rest of the week.
Last night she slept almost ALL night, from before 7pm until about 8am this morning. PRAISE GOD! She only woke for a few minutes in the middle of the night.
I uploaded a picture of Anna with her littlest cousin, Auntie Jay’s daughter Emma. For you avid blog readers, Emma is the unnamed baby that we were waiting and waiting and waiting to be named back in September!
PLEASE PRAY for Anna’s big sister Emily, she has a fever at the moment, Bubba isn’t feeling so well either. PLEASE also pray that Anna continues to be well, and doesn’t catch any colds or ‘flu this winter. Her cough/sneeze (snough) is very strong now, she snoughs often and does a great job getting boogers out of her trach.
Thank you Jesus for healing Anna!
God bless,
Richard

Praise God, I remember when Anna couldn't cough or sneeze.. One grain of sand but the mountain is coming down. We are praying for you with all our heart.
Love In Christ,
