| Anna Grylls update Saturday 9am

Anna’s legs are really quite messed up at the moment. Her knees hyper-extend terribly, and her left leg (the one that was broken) is twisted out very far. You kind of get used to seeing it, but every so often you look at it and cringe. We are due to get the botox shots at the start of April, which should take the stress off her knees and ankles, and allow them to heal up.
Otherwise everything is pretty much as usual.
Many thanks to Katie for going to hyperbaric with Lael this week! Sis. Kristen from Arizona is coming next week to stay for a while and finish this course. I cannot honestly say I have seen any benefit from the hyperbaric treatment this time around, but who knows what’s going on inside.
We are working on getting some Ambien to try on Anna. Despite the fact that it’s prescribed to help you sleep, in brain injury patients it sometimes wakes them up – something to do with the way it interacts with GABA receptors in the brain. Or something. Anyway, we figure it’s worth a try. PLEASE PRAY that it WORKS!!!!!
We were thrilled to hear that Liz’s sister is doing much better, and we are 100% believing for her COMPLETE recovery! Thank you Jesus for healing Audrey!
The other wonderful news is that Emily (our 7 year old) has decided that she wants to be baptized! The date is tentatively set for the Sunday after Easter - March 30th. She loves Jesus very much.

E-5 I used to say as a little boy, sounds almost sacrilegious to say it here at the platform, we used to play banner maker, going swimming out at the old swimming hole. And how many little boys that's raised in the country is not acquainted with the old swimming hole. When we'd get a few minutes' time from the work, or after the pitching hay all day, we would rush out to the swimming hole and go swimming.
And we used to have a big bank at this swimming hole where I would go in. And we had to have a banner maker. He had to lead the way. And he really had a job on his hands. So when all the boys would get close to the water, sometimes it would be a little late in the fall. And there were springs up at the head of this creek, and the water got real cold sometimes. And we would take out running just as hard as we could. And the last one getting in the water had to be the banner maker. Well, I never was banner maker, because I was usually the first one in. And the rest of them had to take the trouble of taking off a shirt, or undoing some suspenders, but usually I just had a pair of overalls on with a fodder twine across for a suspender and a nail for a button. I don't know whether you ever had that or not. And the only thing I had to do, is just pull that nail and the overalls stood in the air and I was in the water. So...
And then they kind of looked forward to me to give them a signal, whether the water was cold or whether it was warm. Now, if I held up one finger, that meant the water was cold, "Come in careful, boys." But if I held up two fingers, the water was warm. I was a witness; I'd already tested it. And now, if there's any here tonight that perchance is they're are not borned again, just come on in; the water's fine. I've already witnessed it.

We are certainly praying for every situation with Annie B! Thank you precious Jesus for HEALING her! Thank you Jesus for the blessing and joy you are putting in Bro. Richard and Sis. Lael's life right now by putting the desire in Emily to be baptized! "The joy of the Lord is our strength!" That doesn't surprise me at all...she is so attentive in Bible class and always has sincere questions....I actually could almost see this coming....Just for a little laugh...one day at school...for all who don't know Emily is VERY loving...and one day at school she was hugging a little boy at recess and we were explaing that little girls only hug little girls...and she said: "well I'm only trying to do what the preacher says and love everyone!" anyway we are so happy for you all! May God continue to give you little blessings along this journey. We love you all The Kirchners
