| Anna Grylls update Saturday 8am

Anna got very tired from having her trach completely capped off, after three days she just couldn’t breathe enough, so we took it off for a while. Every breath is an effort when you have a trach stuck in a little throat, but she is getting stronger. Since then we’ve also used the Passy-Muir valve quite a bit – that’s the one that allows here to breathe in through the trach, but forces her to breathe out through her mouth/nose. For the first time her breath is coming out through her nose a lot, so she has snot coming out of her nose now!
So, she is doing much better with her breathing, but PLEASE PRAY that she will start learning how to handle all the secretions, and that she would start to SWALLOW!!!
She seems to have a bit of infection, so the doc called in some tobramycin antibiotics, which hopefully will take care of it.
Otherwise, she’s had a quiet week.
One of Anna’s very favorite nurses had to quit last weekend due to the high gas prices – she had been driving 45 minutes to get here twice a week. She had been coming here since ~ October, and we’ll miss her very much indeed. Thank you Nikki for your dedication and caring!
Thank you Jesus for healing Annie B!
God bless,
Richard

I'm sorry the nurse had to stop. I know all of you will miss her. May God intervene and wake up our little one soon!!
Thank you Jesus for healing Anna and being with her family.

Gas prices cause a lot of problems these days. Anyway, I'm thanking our Lord Jesus with you all for healing Annie B. Please give her a sweet kiss and hug for me. I've only held her hand once when she was a baby and I'll never forget how she just looked like such a cute and precious little dolly! Say hello to the other children for me, especially the girls. I don't know if they would remember be, you could tell them I'm the Sunday School teacher here when ever you all have visited. ? God bless you

We have been praying for your little
Anna here in Flagstaff, Az. I read some of the older blogs just to get a 'feel' for the situation from the family! It breaks my heart, but we know that our God has everything under control....He loves your Anna more than we all could ever know! Since reading the blogs it puts you all even closer to our hearts and we will continue to pray even more earnestly for her complete healing! God keep you in the palm of His Hand!

I get so angry about all the trouble gas prices are causing on both sides of the Atlantic. I wish George Bush and Gordon Brown would look at the problem and see the big picture. Anyway, so glad that there are good signs for Anna. Praise God for the encouragement.
