| Anna Grylls update Saturday 6pm

Sorry it’s been so long since the last update. Anna’s trach stopped bleeding on Wednesday night, PRAISE GOD! Friday we woke up to several inches of snow, so we weren’t able to go down to Columbus. We spoke with the trach lady and rescheduled for the week after next. It seems likely that the bleeding was caused by over-aggressive suctioning.
Tomorrow I am heading to Albuquerque and then on to Washington, back Thursday. Again we thank God for Liz, who’ll be staying with Lael again. PLEASE PRAY that all is well while I’m gone. Next Friday we are going to Toledo to have Anna’s cast removed from her leg. PLEASE PRAY that all is well with her leg – that the bone has healed properly and that there’s no skin problems inside the cast.
One testimony is that Anna is sleeping better and better. She is now generally asleep from 7:30pm until maybe 5:30am or even later every day. She still needs to be turned, suctioned, and helped back to sleep because she still wakes up frequently, but she’s getting much better at going back to sleep again. PRAISE GOD!
If you could keep praying for swallow, alertness, recognition and consciousness, that would be wonderful, we would appreciate it very much.

Bro.Richard,
Thanks for the update. Praise God for being the same yesterday, today, and forever! He still stops bleeding problems. It must be hard on you to have to travel so often. We will pray God gives you extra strength. Please give Lael a special greeting for me and if she ever needs anyone to talk to I have big shoulders. I pray for her extra at times as the Lord lays her on my heart. This is the age where the Bible says people will be without natural affection. Many parents lack that natural affection for their little ones. It is so indearing to see such loving parents who defy the trend of this world. Who love their child even more than they love themselves. Who like the Salmon, swims against the current of life. I know God has a great purpose for this trial you battle thru. I know it is multifacited. That is the sign of a TRUE BELIEVER, that you "only believe". I love the Word, "Just Stand Still and Know That I AM GOD. I know in time you will see his Glory manifested thru Anna's life. May God call Anna forth to a full and victorious life for his kingdom.
I will call you tommorrow regarding Wa. We'd love to see you if God allows for that. Lynden is 2-3 hours form Seattle. We have a guest room if your interested.(smile). Bro.Gary flys into Seattle Tuesday from SC. May you all rest well tonight. Praise God for Anna's new rest pattern. God is surely moving for his little one.

That's awesome th hear! Such definite progress is very encouraging!
Larry was in the hospital for a week with a gout flare in the left knee and ankle and a cell infection in the right elbow all precipataded by a fall he took. Pray that he feels better soon!
