| Anna Grylls update Saturday 10pm

We saw some real progress today with Anna's lungs, trach, breathing etc. Yesterday she coughed once (we weren't sure if it was a sneeze or a cough, now I'm thinking it was probably a cough), and today she coughed another three times or more. May not seem like a big deal, but these are her first coughs in several weeks!
She also seems to be gagging fairly well now. I'm not that expert at judging the efficacy of a gag, but she seems to do OK :) PRAISE GOD!
ALSO, she did real well today using her passy-muir valve. This is a valve that goes on the end of her trach that allows her to breathe in through her trach, but won't let the air back out again, and thus forces her to breathe out through her mouth. (http://www.passy-muir.com/products/pmvs/pmv2000.aspx) We hadn't used it for a week, because of the storming and the trach change. Anyway, every time I've done it previously, it's taken her 20-30 seconds to get a breath out, and for the 5 minutes it's on she sounds like a steam locomotive going slowly through a long tunnel, becuase it's so hard for her to breathe. But tonight when I put it on, I waited 30 seconds, and was just beginning to worry because she wasn't breathing yet when I realized that she'd been breathing the whole time, just quietly, not a problem at all! So I left it on for 15 minutes, and she was just fine with it on! This is an important step toward her being able to manage her airway. Thank-you Jesus for healing Anna!
Bubba had a fun day with us today. He is just a ball of energy!
Sis. Heather decorated the new room with all the cards last night. We both counted 98, so if anyone would care to get on the Columbus Childrens hospital website and send an e-card just so Anna can get to 100 cards, I would be tickled, thanks!
So, PLEASE PRAY for cough, swallow, seeing. and for her to WAKE UP!! Her stiffness is improving, but she's still quite stiff, and she's sleeping slightly better but still only a few hours at a time, so please pray for these also. Please also pray that her joints and muscles would be OK - it seems like she's beginning to get a bit stiff in her knees, despite all the physical therapy.
God bless,
Richard

And here was Moses' mother in the conflict of testing of her faith. And every child, every son that cometh to God, first must be tried. God tests your faith. Now, look like God could just simply bypass the whole thing and don't have any--appropriate a way, and just cut the thing off, but it's better that He gives you a test, and then comes to you when you're in the test. I like that, don't you? The greatest experiences of my life, is when I come up against a mountain that I can't get over it, under it, or around it. And just stand still, and God will move the thing back. And He will move... No matter how dark the cloud is, faith pierces it yonder with a eye that looks beyond anything that the devil can set before you. 'Cause God is our victory. Amen.
The Power Of God 55-1006E, Para.E-14
There is Victory in the camp tonight for Anna! God is her Victory! Praise God for all things!
Love In Christ,

Hallelujah!! Hallelujah!! Praise the Lord! We're working 12 hour days at the State Fair right now so I missed Friday's comment. What a difference a couple of days make! Why I think a couple of large boulders have actually given way! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!
I'm glad to know the choclate milk is having an effect. I bet Jonathan is as cute as a bug! I'm glad he got to spend some time with you. Maybe Anna will soak in some of that energy!
We will pray for God's timing on Anna's release. I fully understand that while you can't wait to be back together as a family the last thing you want is to not be fully prepared to care for her.
We're standing strong and watching that mountain crumble in Jesus' Name!

I was wanting to give the lyrics of IN HIS TIME. Today at church at the end of service, they played it. So, this is for you Bro. Richard and Sis. Lael...
IN HIS TIME
In HIs time, In His time, He makes all things beautiful in His time.
Lord my life to you I bring, may each song I have to sing , be to you a lovely thing in your time. In His time, in His time. He makes all things beautiful, in His time.
Lord please show me every day that you're teaching me your way. And to do just what you say, In Your time..
God bless you and remember it is in His time!!!
